I originally bought this scanner for scanning large books, but ended up using it for all my scanning purposes. It works great with both my MAC and PC. The camera is very nice and the platform is useful for keeping everything stable. The foot switch is super useful too. I had been using a printer/scanner for scanning and it used to take at least 5-10 min to properly scan one page. But with Shine Surface Pro, it only took about 30 seconds per page. I like the app that came with it a lot too - once I scanned a page, I could easily edit the image to only keep the content I want. I could also change the color mode and erase handwritings. It's pretty impressive!

the scanner is quick and easy to use. the many options for saving scanned documents are phenomenal. i am able to scan historical documents without damaging them. it's the best scanner I have ever used. so far i haven't had to use tech support other than downloading the user manual. there are youtube videos available as well.

This is my 2nd purchase of a CZur product and this more expensive one still doesnt work for MAC. I have tried their support and no help.also only comes with a USB cable and most new macs are USB-C. Product is outdated for a Mac
