Looks great in the porch and for using to change shoes

Love these (I ordered two!) I have used them as guest room bedside tables. They look lovely and are the perfect size too. Easy to build, if not a little time consuming. I read on other reviews that others have found one of the screws (that goes into the base wasn't big enough). This appears to be the case at first but I believe it is just initially holding the base in place and once the rest is constructed it was very stable. Would definately recommend this product. Looks great and good quality. However I would say if you were planning to use them as a stool they would be great but I find them quite low!

Didn't even last a week with minum use. Waste of money. I bought it as a piano stool, followed instructions and it looked great but the wood is of such poor quality not so much the base but the top after a few minutes the screws were coming lose and then ate through the cheap wood. Can't even screw it back on

Good stool. We use as a table. Very fiddly to put together. My son rescued me from the job.

..and to do a LOT of cursing while you try to assemble what is on the face of it such a simple item. I must’ve dropped the allen key two thousand times trying to tackle the screws for this thing, not helped by the screw holes being pre-drilled crazy tight and out of alignment, resulting in a poor finish when assembled (see photos.) Believe me this was not my incompetence - I tried everything to get the damn legs to screw into the base all the way with no gaps but it’s down to the bad drilling of the holes unfortunately. Add to that the splintering wood at the end of one leg (went into my thumb) and that one of the four screws that (very importantly) attaches the legs to the top just spun round and round in the hole without tightening, and I pretty much wished I hadn’t ordered it by the time I’d finished what should have been an easy job. I already have one of these and love it so ordered a second, but this one was way harder to assemble. I’m keeping it purely because of the way it will be used (as a small table in an inconspicuous area - I would NEVER trust this as a stool) otherwise I would not hesitate to return. The 3 stars are for being pleasing to look at and generally useful but that’s being very generous!

I got two of these for my boys room, the eldest broke his within 2 weeks as the top came off, we have wood glued it and now perfect (we did find that he was rocking on it a lot so this is what broke it) they look really stylish I would buy again despite us having to glue them

Can something really be called a stool if you wouldn't want to risk sitting on it? This...item looks OK once assembled but it is quite some time since I encountered a flat pack product this bad to assemble. The main culprits are the legs, (rather a crucial part!) which you have to put together with long screws with an allen key type head (key supplied thankfully). The trouble is everything is shaped so all the screws have to go in at an angle and the holes don't line up at all. It's extremely fiddly to do the first one anyway - get a glamorous assistant if you can - and because the holes don't line up it's still hard to get the screws in enough to really sink into the holes. I had to really force them for the last few turns and at least 2 legs have split as a result. The same is also true of the top, with the added element of not being able to see the screw holes because of the design. Fortunately these screws are much shorter and though it was fiddly it wasn't quite as bad. If you want a plant stand or a place to put folded towels in a bathroom, or as a bedside stand (which several reviewers mention), then it's probably OK. But you need fairly strong hands/wrists to assemble it, even with the leverage of the allen key, and I really, really wouldn't advise sitting on it! I'm not sending mine back, but I will probably replace it if I see a better option and I wouldn't buy again.

Wasn’t looking for a stool ... needed a small side to have next to my sofa. This does the job perfectly. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Looks great and so pleased I bought it. Follow the instructions and you won’t have any problem putting it together. Can’t comment on how comfortable it is to use as a stool as my heavy plant pot is sitting on it :)

The pieces don't fit. They're poorly constructed and the holes do not line up with where the pieces are supposed to fit. We are returning it.

Schön leicht und platzsparend, aber dennoch sehr stabiler Hocker. Geliefert wurde (schnell und pünktlich) als flaches Paket, vergleichbar einem Ikeamöbel. Der Zusammenbau war einfach und mit den beigelegten Befestigungs- und Hilfsmitteln gut zu bewältigen. Der Hocker kommt bei mir in der Küche zum Einsatz, als Einkaufstaschen-Parkplatz und als Sitzgelegenheit, wenn es viel zu schnippeln gibt. Er hat sich gut bewährt und das geradlinige schnörkellose Design finde ich einfach klasse. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die vorgefertigten Bauteile sind gut paßgenau, sauber verpackt und vollständig einschließlich der Schrauben. Allerdings ist der Zusammenbau eher etwas für geduldige Naturen, weil doch ziemlich verwinkelt. Vorsicht mit Akkuschraubern: Bambusholz ist sehr hart - und man dreht sehr leicht die weichen Schrauben ab! So bei uns geschehen. Sicherheitshalber die Verbindungsstellen mit etwas Holzleim versehen, schon hält es stabil. Für Erwachsene ist das hübsch anzusehende und für seine "spillerigen" Verhältnisse stabile Hockerlein doch sehr knapp - aber das konnte man aus den Maßangaben vorhersehen. Trotzdem überrascht die Realität gelegentlich.... Bei der Gewichtsangabe wären wir vorsichtig, weil, wenn Bambus bricht, dann plötzlich, d.h. ohne Anzeichen. So ist es ein schönes Teil für die Kids in der Küche, für Erwachsene eher nicht... Nachtrag vom 14.6.2020: Wie befürchtet ist der Hocker nicht für die Alltag von Kindern geeignet. Einmal umgefallen hat sich die Sitzfläche vollständig vom gestell gelöst. Relativ dünnes "Presspan" ist für die Befestigung mittels Schrauben ungeeignet, zumal die mitgelieferten Schrauben gerade mal eineinhalb Gewindegänge und nur mit der Spitze in der Sitzplatte stecken, wie die Bilder zeigen. Das ist nicht nur nicht fest oder gar sicher sondern billige Schluderei und damit unzureichende Qualität und erheblich zu teuer. Deshalb die Abwertung auf einen Punkt und keine Kaufempfehlung mehr. Wir halten das für das Gegenteil nachhaltig nützlicher Ausstattung sondern für kaum nutzbaren, entbehrlichen, überteuerten "Dekoschrott".....

Les vis tournent dans le vide et sont trop petites Les tabourets sont branlants et casse binette. Franchement j ai perdu 148 euros. Je ne comprends pas comment amazon peut encore mettre ce produit en vente. Nous sommes en train de les coller et d essayer de changer les vis..... Inadmissible Si amazon peut me rembourser cette camelote ce serait trop aimable.....
