My nephew is 5 he took it to Florida with him a played with it in the pool he loved it.

The boat worked for less than 5 minutes. We put it out on a shallow pond in the neighborhood, and after driving it around for a couple minutes, it just stopped going anywhere. The lights were working and you could hear the motor running, but it wouldn’t go forward or backward. It was just stuck in the middle of the pond, drifting, no matter which buttons we pressed. I stepped into what I thought was 2 inches of water to try to retrieve it, and the mud on the bottom of the pond sucked my legs down until it was up to my knees. I managed to get back to the shore, but the mud sucked my shoes off my feet, gone forever. We decided at that point to just leave the boat, as there was no way to get it out safely. So not only are we out a boat, I am out a pair of shoes as well. Unless you are using this in a pool or a safe place to swim, I do not recommend this boat. I thought we’d get at least a day’s use out of it. But not even 5 minutes? I’m assuming one or both of the propellers came off, as it came with extra propellers. But I have no way of knowing now.
