This item seems good quality & is genuinely very quiet! Our hamster can gallop away until her heart is content! We don't have experience to compare against other products (this is our 1st hamster & it is a fantastically quiet wheel. By quiet - this means you cannot hear the wheel spinning, only the pitter patter of the hamsters' feet as it gallops). So, 1st things 1st - the product appears to be manufactured in China from the markings on the box, that's not a criticism because if the product is well made, good quality for the price & does what it is described to do i.e. a quiet good quality wheel, well whether it's from China or the UK is another topic & it would not be fair to criticise this, (come on the UK make something of the same quality at an affordable price & compete for your own market sales!). Just a thought! Thank you Amazon who deserve credit - the 1st wheel arrived split, cracked & damaged (probably during transit & delivery), but Amazon helped sort that out - again thank you Amazon (credit where credit is due & genuinely appreciated!). The 2nd replacement wheel arrived & was in perfect condition & has been quiet & is ideal, as described above. We cannot comment on how long the product will last & it's overall value just yet (not had it long enough). But if you are looking for a very quiet hamster wheel, this does an excellent job - all you need to do is select the right size wheel for your hamster, that fits in the cage you have. It is adjustable but suggest making sure of the min. & max. heights for the different size wheels. We purchased the small size for our dwarf hamster that can run with a straight back. We also purchased the clear version which looks really nice & is as we hoped (we realise it's a personal choice on the colour but we really like the clear version & it's overall look). We use the wheel on its own stand which is stable & doesn't fall over, but you can cage mount the wheel if your cage bars & the wheel height are right & align for each other (we could not cage mount it). It is easy to clean but suggest keeping the bearings dry when cleaning & lastly, the item comes with a cork stick-on adhesive base, which you can attach & stick on as preferred. Once again, this review is honest, impartial & genuine. Thanks again amazon for your help & support (again credit where credit is due!). We would recommend this product & recognise it is a more pricey wheel. Hope this review is of help for you.

This is the best hamster wheel ever, and I've tried a few! It's actually silent! Doesn't wake us up at all in the night! Really wonderful size for a Syrian too, plenty of space and it's super sturdy! Pretty colour pink and easy to set up!

We got the medium size and it’s perfect for our hamster . it is indeed silent , well built and sturdy. looked for ages for a decent wheel that allows running and keeping their back safe . Yes it is expensive £40 for the M wheel but worth every penny .

Amazing quality, worth every penny. Completely silent when they are running on it, easy to clean, a great size, and passes the gerbil chew test. My gerbils have run on it for hours every day for the last month and it's as silent as the day I got it.

Pricey but works, silent and doesnt float or knock the stand with the weight of the animal in it. If it seems too stiff it may be that the inner circular knob is secured too tightly, mine spins easily and is very smooth.

If any ham owner is looking for a silent wheel these are the ones to get, this size is the smallest recommended size for Syrian hamsters. Despite there being loads to buy they are often far too small. This wheel is really good, silent, sturdy, very easy to put together. My ham seemed to love it. Only given 4 stars as I also own a bucastate wheel and in my opinion it slightly pips this one. Due to the ridges this one is a little harder to clean if you have a run and pee ham. Also this wheel seems to echo my little one’s paws when running, making it a little louder than the bucastate. However it is a brilliant wheel and you can also purchase a pedometer to see just how far your ham runs on a night.

OMG this wheel couldn't have arrived any sooner! Last night was the final straw and Gizmo was relegated to the kitchen, tonight he would probably be in the garden if we had to listen to the old rattly wheel one more night! We've only had the hamster for 3 weeks and despite his cute face we weren't getting any sleep from his marathon training sessions each night. Apparently hamsters can run over 20 miles a night at speeds of up to 3mph! If you're considering this wheel, get it and think of it as an investment in your quality of sleep, marriage and relationship with your children. You'd pay more than £1/day for that...so the wheel is actually a saving! The noise in the video is of the filter of the fish tank on the other side of the kitchen, true to other reviews - you can only hear the pitter patter of tiny feet as the wheel goes around. The design is great and there was lots of choice in terms of colour and size. The quality and material are good and the brand has lots of wonderful items. Maybe we'll invest in a matching odometer for Christmas to monitor Gizmos performance!

I got this for my mice, and the only sounds at night are their little feet running, the occasional poop rolling around on the wheel, and sometimes bedding if it gets inside. If the poop is dry, it usually just rolls or flies out, so it's not a big issue. Other than that, the wheel is super quiet and easy to clean. Adjusting the height is also really simple. I ordered the transparent medium, but they sent me the white medium instead. It wasn’t a big deal, so I just contacted the seller to let them know. The seller was very helpful and offered me a 30% refund as compensation. If you run into any issues, I recommend reaching out to them, they’re great to work with. My 3 girls love this wheel and come out to run on it every night. Even though it’s a bit pricey, I’d definitely recommend it. The quality is excellent, and it’s worth the investment since it’ll save money in the long run.

The wheel that came with the cage was making a ruckus in the night, waking us up at times. This wheel doesn't only make ZERO sound, it is also better for the little guy's back!

I purchased the NiteAngel 11-inch hamster wheel for my Syrian hamster, and I couldn't be happier with it! My hamster is a big girl, and this wheel is large enough to keep her back straight, allowing her to run comfortably, endlessly, without putting any stress on her body. It's of excellent quality and so easy to clean. It's sturdy, smooth, and is nearly silent, a much-appreciated upgrade over her previous wheel, especially since her enclosure is next to my bed. The wheel spins so smoothly, and the solid surface makes it so easy to wipe off the mid-run pee. The wheel's height is adjustable, which is a great feature. Overall, it's a bit pricey, but she loves it, and I'm getting more restful sleep, so I love it too.
