Works great with the Eonon Head unit for my 2012 Mazda 3.

Installed two of these in E46 BMW 3 series with Eonon head units. They are great. Very good image quality. Here are some tips to help an any car, but this is specific to the E46. On the second car I pulled the wiring forward to the head unit. It was much easier than head unit back. I mounted the camera above the license plate on the left side, then pulled the wiring to the front from there. You must remove the panels from the trunk lid, the third brake light and pull the wire down to the trunk on the passenger side and then up to the radio through the sill and over the glove box. (This may be different for non-convertible cars). The sill trim on the door was very hard to get off. It pushes forward and then you can lift it. (You may choose to tuck the wire up in the door sill and not remove the sill. I mostly recommend this. Pulling the sill is tough and almost always damages the mounts.) The glove box also needs to be removed. It's like 8 screws. The back seat must come out to allow the wire to fish along the battery cables. The backup camera is a good 3-plus hours, but again, well worth it. You will not need to wire anything in the trunk other than the plugs. The power, ground are not needed. I cut them and wrapped the ends with electrical tape. There is a power reverse cable at the head unit. This and the other plug-in will support and power and video to and from the camera. There is no forward ground. Again, this is not for the faint hearted. If you work on BMWs, then you will have all the tools you need. Torx of course and a fish line will help. Take your time and enjoy the install!

Great camera. Used with Eonon stereo on my 2011 GMC sierra extended cab long box. The only thing that was difficult for the install was the cord could have been longer for my truck. The quality of video is good and the mounting is easy. The wiring to the stereo is very simple and well marked. Great price

Works fine but 140degree angle wasn't wide as I thought if you like to see edge of the bumper.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Relatively easy to install. Although you have to feed the wires through side paneling. There was a pretty solid YouTube video about how to do it tho. Also, you have to extend the ground wire cuz it's too short. So, extra couple parts. Also was in the YouTube video. I used a solid wire and a butt splicer with shrink function. Then I grounded it inside the trunk to one of the screws on the break light. The quality is pretty good tho.
