Apple Watch Ultra [GPS + Cellular 49mm] Titanium Case with Midnight Ocean Band, One Size (Renewed)

This is a good value for me. Not having the budget to buy the brand new Ultra 1, this is a good option. Barely have any visible scratch or damage. The glass is in perfect condition. Battery is at 88% health.

I decided to buy this used instead of new and it arrived in very good shape. There was only one small scratch on the titanium case, but you can barely see it. Everything else works perfectly and the midnight ocean band looks like new. It was a good way to save some money on the Ultra model without compromising on quality.

Writing a review based on what I was looking for when I was looking to buy this watch. It is as I would expect (this is my 3rd purchase from Amazon Renewed - all have been a great experience) - no fancy packaging or quick-start guides - just a watch, band and charger in a generic box. Watch was in excellent physical shape (at least from what I can see - even under magnification, not a scratch anywhere) - brand-new charger (not sure if it is original or not - but it works and looks like my old iWatch charger but has a USB-C - I assume for quick charging) and a brand-new band - not attached or loose in the box. Packaging was minimal but delivered by FedEx - actual watch was surrounded by bubble wrap and a plastic sleeve in the box. Just what I was expecting - nothing more and nothing less - for the price in this good of shape I am quite pleased. So far, battery life is 2 days plus some (as a new watch like this should be able to do) - started as a new un-paired watch should - no problems connecting to my iPhone, updating software and all the rest of it went off without any differences between my old iWatch and this Renewed one. I will update this post if there are any problems but, based on my other Amazon Renewed experiences, I doubt that I will need to. Seeing that most reviews state the difference between this iWatch and the Ultra 2 are minimal and this one is more than $300 cheaper in new shape, I have to chalk this up to a great buy if you are in the market for its capabilities (which I needed after the untimely demise of my older iWatch). The screen is flat on this one (unlike the curved screen on the other iWatches) so I would recommend (as I got one) a screen protector - my old iWatch suffered from a lot of scratches on the screen after years of abuse but the curved screen made it difficult to up on a screen protector - for this one - it is quite easy to install it.

It was time to buy an Apple Watch. The Ultra seemed to have all the features and *in my mind* the smaller "regular" models were a compromise of sorts. But the new Ultra II watches are VERY expensive. Not in my budget and in my mind not a good value. But I think I found the value I needed. I researched Ultra I vs Ultra II (and the Series 10) watches and decided that while the Ultra II has more features and a "faster processor", these weren't things that I *needed*. It came with features that are not automtically included with the Series 10 watches such as titanium frame. An extra control button, and a few minor other things. It appeared that the "renewed" watches seemed to have a good track record and one came along with a band that I liked and I jumped on it. I like this watch. Big learning curve, but I'm settling in. The unit I received seems to be in perfect condition, with a plastic protector over the face. No scratches or any marks that I can see. The one thing that surprised me, but just a little, is that it came in a crappy generic box. Nothing like how Apple packages their products. But I won't be wearing the box, so who cares. It also came with a little charging disk/cord that looks like an EKG sensor. The charging thing works, but I bought an inexpensive night stand charger which I like. One of the ingenious things about the Apple Watch is their approach to watch bands. I like the one that came with it, but to change a band is easy and takes only seconds. I ordered 3 more bands, but just sent back on. So many to choose from. The bands change the whole character of the watch, and I can set matching watch faces. So much fun to be able to take one watch and inexpensively give it so many looks. I reserve 5 star rating for only outstanding products. I give this 4.5 stars, because the cheap packaging ruined the overall gestalt of receiving a watch that costs this much money.

Wow! I wasn't totally sure what to expect from an "Excellent" refurbished Apple Watch Ultra... I knew that the battery health should be >80% and there'd be no obvious scratches. I didn't expect the watch to look like new, and was so happy to see that the battery health was at 87% (for a watch that launched 3 years ago). I couldn't be happier with the price & product. Yes, it comes in a generic box (not sure why so many people are concerned with this... it is a refurb after all)... but it was well-packed, the watch face was covered in a removable plastic film, the band looks new, and the charging cable is a new Apple USB-C charging cable.

Very good product but the only bad thing is that it did not come with the band in the picture and the watch charger was not the real Apple chager so I had to go to Apple and buy a real chager

Excellent physical condition. Battery is 85% but expected with a refurbished item.

Let me first state the bad experience I dealt with this watch. When I first received this watch came with some random “smart watch” box doesn’t come with the original Apple box, it also comes with 2 cheap unofficial Apple products which is a charger and wrist band. I’ve heard in the reviews the chargers don’t charge properly with this Apple Watch and it’s true it doesn’t and the band breaks easily, luckily I had an actual solid charger to charge this watch since it also came straight up dead no charge at all, so I was like “okay no big deal” just let it charge for a few mins Apple Watches should always charge quick as they say. 5 mins passes by the watch finally turns on and I was looking to pair it with my phone, it was going well until it was time to update and I left it there so it can update there was like 2 updates to this Apple Watch so i let the first update go, and it just kept repeating and repeating like it was not updating so I had to literally stay on my watch and see it update but it took SOO LONG it was pissing me off until it finally did the first update now the second update required my phone to stay at least 50% charge or it can stay on the charger while it update. So I did that, I let my watch sit on the charge and it kept telling me AGAIN to make sure my watch is at least on 50% charge or stay on the charger while updating but none of that worked at all meaning my watch was on the charger and it still kept telling me to keep it charged if it’s not at least 50%, so I left it there for at least 20 minutes. 20 minutes passes by and it’s barely 20%!!! I was already looking to refunding this watch already and while it was charging I was looking at reviews having the same issue. Finally 1 hour and 20 minutes it’s 50% and the second update started thank goodness, when everything was done I finally paired it to my phone but battery was not good at all so I was still thinking on refunding this watch since I had to spend more on battery change. But what can I say the watch was smooth, screen and edges were clean clean no damage but my issue was just the battery but I had faith in this watch so I just kept it. After a week of wearing this watch, the battery slowly started getting solid, it charges quicker now first time I charged it yes it did heat up a lot but it’s normal after all the updates it received and to this day no it doesn’t heat that much no more in fact after charging it all night the next morning my watch is on 100% cool not heated up and lasts longer. After a 12 hour shift the battery still is holding at 80% I was shocked at the performance and the watch itself is just beautiful, Siri worked, my calls went through. Though this is still a risk on buying since not everybody has the same performance, I’m guessing my watch was just not updated and turned on for a while that i received a bad experience the first time I got it. I’d say stay patience and see it slowly work.
