Very good and easy to use

They work well if your trying to add a few short strips together , but if your trying to extend a 10m cable don't bother . I think it's more to do with it being the maximum length of the cable than the connectors themselves

Having installed LED strip lights for my son last night, I cut them in the wrong place and we were left with one small section not lighting up. These connectors came to the rescue! It's important to note that you need to lift up the silver bits inside the connector and put the copper from the strip under the silver connectors. Also, make sure to have your lights going in the right direction. (I didn't the first time!) The only weird thing I found was that, having put them in the right way and clicked both shut, one side would only work if I applied pressure to the connector. I solved this by tightly wrapping it in sticky tape. I'm not sure why it needed the extra pressure but am thankful the tape did the trick.

LitaElek 10pcs 4 Pin LED Connector RGB LED Strip Connector for 10mm Wide: I purchased these connectors because I had somehow managed to twist & break some of the delicate wires along the length of my LED tape, thus resulting in two different colours of lighting along the entire length of the tape when in use; something that was driving me nuts, and without the money to replace the tape, I just wanted a cheap & easy fix. I'd seen this style of connector online as being a way to repair my tape, so went ahead with my purchase, and tbh, whilst I knew I had the correct style of connector for my tape due to it having a soft plastic coating to protect the electrics, my inexperience of using any style of tape connector did result in my cutting out more of my LED strip than was needed; fortunately, not enough of a loss to warrant a noticeable difference in so far as where I am using the tape nor its overall length. I also found that without slotting a thin piece of card inside the connector so that it covered both pieces of the cut tape being re-joined inside the connector (which in itself was a rather fiddly work-around due to the need to both try and hold the two sections in place whilst also positioning the card inside what is already a small connector!), one if not both of the cut sections would just fall out of the connector once it had been push-fitted to its closed/locked position. All told, these connectors have provided me with a cheap & easy fix, and you do get a lot of them in the pack, but they're not exactly great in so far as holding the tape in place, as such, they really need an additional plastic insert inside them or something similar to secure the tape inside them properly.

Brilliant Very easy to use

I got these clips for my strip lights to add them together but it didn't do what it says on the packet so sent back get a refund not worth the money at all u struggle to open the clips.

Funktioniert fürs erste perfekt. Habe sie für WS2811 genommen mit IP65. Musste das Silikon auf dem Strip wegschneiden. Aber das war garnicht sooo schwer. Den Verbinder drauf und geht. Ich bin begeistert. Auch kann man an den Verbindern Kabel drauf löten (wofür die nicht gemacht sind) und auch das ging super. Würde ich immer wieder Bestellen.

I had some RBG lights that I wanted to connect to make longer and these worked like a charm. Really easy to use. Just cut ABOVE the metal points on your strip of lights and then connect those metal points to the points on these and voila-light!
