Very nice and perfectly clear polycarbonate tube. Actual length is 13 3/4" not 14in but works for my project.

I had an unusual purpose in buying this clear plastic tube. I needed a stand to hold a 6 inch diameter Mars globe above an earth globe. It works perfectly. Being clear, the stand nearly disappears from view. exactly the effect I desired. I appreciate the accurate online description of this product.
