Does Not Fit 12AWG Speaker Cable
I bought 4 x straight and 4 x 90 degree plugs to fit to two runs of 12 AWG speaker cable. The straight plugs fitted easily. The 90 degree plugs could not be fitted because the barrel of the plug was too small, and the grub screws were too long. Got the Vernier out and the straight plug had a barrel O.D of 7.35mm with a grub screw length of 3.95mm. For the 90 plug the barrel was 6.75mm and the grub screw was 4.6mm. The grub screws could not be screwed in far enough to allow the outer sleeve to be screwed on. The picture shows the barrels of the 90 plug left and straight plug right. Sellers description states these can be used with 12 AWG cable which is incorrect as you need shorter grub screws to make it fit

Not as simple as it should have been.
One grub screw was preventing the case to come off, that was a hairy moment. The two grub screws were hard to tighten, wouldn't go in all the way! It was a struggle to get the screw part on. Perseverance is the name of the game.

Danger of shorting
The wire end covers are metal. These are L-shaped connectors and the covers could touch and short.
