Purchased to configure a cheap GPS module from China, and worked perfectly! The item received doesn't quite match the product pictures, but it works. The pins are a bit on the wonky side too, and the CTS pin is off-centre, but that doesn't affect my usage. It might affect yours.

Easy to use straight out of the box. I use it to programme Sonoff devices with Tasmota and burning bootloaders for Arduino type chips. Works well over 115200baud too if you want it to.

It's worth the money. Work as expected I used mainly for Arduino.

Great bit of kit. Don't buy some cheap Chinese fake for £2, pay the extra and get the quality. All my flashing issues have gone. Great product and delivered promptly.

Dopo avere perso parecchie ore/giorni per identificare un malfunzionamento di una apparecchiatura da me realizzata, che usava una schedina cinese low cost dichiarata FTDI232 compatibile, che si verificava senza un preciso schema temporale, ho avuto il sospetto che potesse esserne quella la causa. Sostituita con questa "originale", tutto si è messo a funzionare senza intoppi. Morale della favola: non è tutto oro quello che luccica e se dovete realizzare qualcosa di affidabile, usate prodotti di qualità come questo. Non fate come me, che per risparmiare qualche euro ne ho buttati via moltissimi di più in tempo e tribolazioni.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Works without drivers as it's a legitimate FTDI chip. The voltage switch adjusts VCC which is handy. If also has short circuit protection which is handy when you often phat finger things like me. Also tolerant to an imperfect connection to the target which is good too. Highly recommended. If I were to ask for one thing, it would be multiple grounds.
