Must-Have Tool for GM Heater Hose Removal!
I picked up the Bentolin Heater Hose Quick Disconnect Tool (3/4”, Replacement 39190) for a heater hose job on my GM vehicle, and I’m honestly glad I did. This little tool saved me a ton of frustration. If you’ve ever tried removing a heater hose quick connect without the proper tool, you know how stubborn they can be. With this, it slid right in, released the fitting cleanly, and the hose came off without fighting it for an hour. It fit perfectly on the 3/4” GM connector and worked exactly as advertised. The build quality feels solid — not flimsy plastic that’s going to snap on first use. It’s simple, straightforward, and does the job quickly. Definitely one of those inexpensive tools that makes a big difference. If you’re replacing heater hoses or working on GM cooling systems, this tool is absolutely worth having in your toolbox. Highly recommend!

Good Tool to have.
Worked great on my 2001 Silverado making replacing the heater hose adapter easier. Works better than the plastic ones.

Excellent product, must have tool for removing heater hose connectors
This is an excellent product and very high quality. Must have this tool for removing heater hose connectors at the firewall on the older Chevy trucks, or GMC trucks. Works very well, exactly as described. Definitely worth the money to be able to do this job yourself.

It works perfectly, just please have patience
It works perfectly….however….it does take some work getting it between the fire wall and back of the fitting….remember, this thing does work because i got the old fitting off and put the new hose on…( it takes time!)

Perfect fit for 2002 Avalanche, almost
Very well made, only thing keeping it from 5 stars was that on my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche it could really only fit around one of the two heater hoses at the firewall. For the side it fit it was easy to hinge it around the fitting to disconnect, made an unpleasant job much faster. I still keep it and a spare fitting in the glovebox in case the other hose decides to go.

Doesn’t fit
Doesn't fit Chevrolet Suburban 2012. OEM is a press-on external tabs (2) to release, This one has 4 internal tabs. See pictures.

Be careful
Did not fit for my purpose, but the $8 one from the parts store took the hose right off.
