Q: Can the manufacturer tell me what the tablet/bait contains as I have the old version with the bait you put in the middle.

Dear customer, The old bait tablet contains a mixture of carbohydrates and serves as a food source / attractant for the silverfish. These carbohydrates are also commonly found in food items. We took it out of the product and incorporated an attractant in the glue of the new traps. This is more convienent for the user. I hope this answers your question. Q: Is there a use by date?

There doesn't appear to be a use-by-date, but the trap is just sticky cardboard, so will become less sticky with time due to settlement of dust etc. I find the trap completely useless as there is no bait. Silverfish just walk past it! Don't waste your money

Q: Does the packet contains tablets? Because the box I received from Amazon today did not have any tablets, only two traps with sticky lines.

Dear Customer, We recently changed the composition of the product. The attractant is now incorporated into the glue of the trap. This changed was made to make the product easier to use and does not effect the efficacy or catch rate of silverfish of the product. So no, the product does not contain any tablets anymore.

Q: How often you replace them as it’s disturbing seeing the cardboard already with few silverfish but still potential to trap more ?

I leave the box in place until it is unable to catch any more silverfish. If you don't like seeing them on the card put the card some where you can forget about it. It could be an expensive habit to keep replacing the box every time you catch one.
