I’m really impressed with this essence! The 96% snail secretion filtrate makes my skin feel instantly hydrated, smooth, and refreshed. It absorbs quickly without stickiness and works well under other skincare products. I’ve noticed a visible improvement in texture and overall skin health. I bought Corsx 96 snail mucin serum while also buying the Corsx snail cream for the first time. I was specifically looking for a snail cream and am not on TikTok to follow the beauty trends coming from over there. I had also used kojic acid for the first time having never heard of it and just enjoyed how clean and smooth it made my skin, Within 2 weeks of using the kojic acid my skin started to wrinkle, crack, peel and feel incredibly sore (burning stinging sensation). I'd had a massive reaction to the kojic acid pads I was using. After a week of dowsing castor oil all over my face my skin still felt sore but the castor oil prevented the scarring I was worried about from the peeling skin. In the time of the reaction I received my first delivery of the Corsx and decided to use it on my irritated and sore skin. As I applied the serum the feeling of relief was instant, it didn't provoke the stinging sensation and between the Corsx snail cream and this 96 mucin serum I stood in front of the mirror reapplying both every 5 minutes for 20 minutes such was the instant feeling of relief they gave me. Within 1 week of using morning and evenning my skin had completely healed, I went from having cracked, sore, peeling to my skin being in full on healing mode. I was shocked. I wanted to take a picture of my skin at the time of the irritation but I didn't, but once I began to see the rapid repair the Corsx snail serum and cream had brought I thought it would be too difficult to explain what the before and after pictures were showing because my irritated skin looked deeply wrinkled from the cracking and I didn't want people to confuse the pictures as showing before and after wrinkles. This all happened 10 months ago and I use the snail mucin gratuitously, I apply far more than I need to because a little really does go along way but the slimy feeling as it spreads over my skin feels so cooling and hydrating, a wonderful tonic after washing the face. My skin has never looked better. I use the snail mucin underneath my final sealing moisturiser, and I even use it while dermarolling or microneedling as it gives the slip that helps the needle cartridge travel the skin. In the 10 months I've been using the mucin I have bought x4 bottles, but am only on my second bottle in terms of usage. After the instant relief both the mucin and the cream provided I came back to Amazon and bought LOADS (it was black friday) to make sure I am always well stocked up. I love this stuff and it has only taken me so long to write a review because I don't have the words to really convey how brilliant it it.

The product came nicely packaged and arrived swiftly. The texture is sticky and soft, and upon application, my skin feels instantly hydrated and brightened. The quality of the product is high and very good value for money.

Why I bought it: Needed something gentle to calm dryness and irritation from retinol. What surprised me: Absorbs faster than expected and gives an instant plumping effect without feeling slimy. My dermatologist recommended this and I can't thank her enough. Absorbs well & feels lovely on the skin. Very hydrating. Apply after cleansing, let absorb and then lock in the hydration with a moisturiser & sunscreen.

It was a totally random purchase for me as i normally go for "high end" product and end up spending hundreds. This product had so many good reviews so thought id try. I used it on my face first and it does not leave sticky residue, skin feels soft after and moisturised. But then i had a bright idea to try it on my body where i had a random patch of eczema that i could not get rid for years , even used prescription steroid cream that did nothing long term. 1 week ! Is all ot took to get rid of it with this mucin..im not really sure how this works or if I was just lucky that this product ended up being so versitile, but I can tell you for sure something in it works really well ! I'm yet to see how my eczema patch feels in a months time or so and after I stop using it , nevertheless 5 *

Let me start by saying I have pretty good skin overall. It’s very dry but clear, and I’m also a beauty and skincare content creator so I’m used to trying out products and knowing what to look for. I bought this snail mucin essence during a sale because I kept seeing it all over TikTok and social media, and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, for me it didn’t. I’ve given it a chance. I took it with me while travelling, used it consistently at home and on holiday, but I just didn’t get the results others seem to rave about. When I used it on its own it felt like it wasn’t doing much. My skin didn’t feel noticeably more hydrated or moisturised, and there was no visible glow or improvement in appearance. It didn’t break me out or cause any issues, but it just didn’t add anything either. That said, there are a few positives. The consistency is lovely and smooth, and I like the cooling feel when applying it. It sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling soft to the touch. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a huge plus, especially for people with sensitive skin. And it’s a great travel size. It fit perfectly in my hand luggage and felt like a convenient addition to my routine when layered with other products. Interestingly, it did seem to work better on my mum’s skin. She has more mature combination skin, and it left her face looking more hydrated and plump. So it may just be one of those products that works differently depending on your skin type. In my opinion this isn’t a miracle product like it’s made out to be on social media but it could still be worth trying if you’re curious and want something light to layer in your routine.

This product noticeably improved the feeling of my skin while making my skin look dewy and refreshed. It reduced the appearance of my pores as well. I would recommend it.
