I have been struggling to find something that will cut aluminum on my CNC router at high RPMs without chip welding. This was the answer. I run jobs with around 5000 linear inches of cutting each and this is absolutely up the the challenge. I am using this bit to cut 6061 aluminum with a 76 IPM feed at 18000 RPM with great results. I am only running 0.065" DOC, because my machine lacks rigidity.
