Excellent 6 socket hanging power supply
To be clear, the product I am reviewing is the UK plug version of "...Brennenstuhl 2x 3-way hanging workshop power distributor..." Some of the previous reviews did not make it completely clear what the unit was actually like. Mine is a single power block. It has three sockets on each side (6 in total). It is actually a little smaller than I expected, which is great. Quality is as expected for the price. It will handle 3KW of power and has auto cut-out if it gets too hot. It has a good quality 'soft' cable and a long chain to hang it from. My only wish is that there was a power on/off switch - just one for everything - as something I like to do is to reach up and turn everything off in one go. I guess I could fit an inline switch, but this is only a small thing.Overall very pleased with the hanging power unit.

6 way ceiling extension
For what this costs alone is worth 5 stars - 6 socket outlets with spring loaded covers for just over £20 delivered - i really need say no more ! However it works perfectly as described and maybe not made out of the best material (like harder/stronger plastic used for the case) its still a great item to have hanging over a workbench to plug in power tools - Bargain and well recommended !

Provides adaptable solution.
Looks ok. A lot lighter than expected. Socjet civers a little flimsy but seem ok. Still to put to proper use in my workshop and save putting in many more s/o's. If ok will order a second for use in my garage, again saves on installing extra s/o's.

Great value
This is a really useful addition to my workshop. It's very well made with good secure sockets, has a long, well finished chain and a good, thick cable. The thermal cutout is a reassuring addition too. Great value at this price.

Case could be stronger
It is working well but I’m careful not to overload it, power wise. Would prefer the casing to be stronger but it’s hanging from the ceiling so should be safe from damage.

Brillient
This has allowed me the flexibility in the layout of my workshop without rerouting wires and plug points. But still stay safe !!I now have two over bench hook points which allows me to move the distributor to any group of power tools with minimum time and effort, keeping cables and leads well out of harms way.

Works for me.
I have this hanging above the central work area in my garage. Cable was long enough to be routed across the ceiling and down to a wall mounted safety switch. The ‘handle’ on the bottom can be used for holding when plugging in/unplugging devices, or as somewhere to take up a small amount of excess cable. Unlike other reviewers, I find the covers easy to open and I like them being sprung loaded; this prevents them from getting dusty when not in use. So far, six sockets has been more than enough.

Useful, but those flaps are fiddly.
Got this for the garage so as to have some sockets in the centre of the roof space.Does exactly what I wanted.Does lose a star for the sockets themselves though. The plastic sprung covers do keep stuff out but make it quite hard to insert plugs and make it impossible to insert some larger devices built into plugs, I have a physically small wifi booster that only just fits. Also I really don't know why the odd arrangement of socket angles was deemed necessary.Over all though it is a useful bit of kit, and the only hanging socket arrangement available as far as I can find.
