Perfect for travel. Bought for a cruise. Charged it before we left and used it all week. Worked well. Compact.

Well I loved it until it stopped working
I fell in love with this thing and I was using it every after every meal and actually it just made my mouth cleaner and healthier, and I could tell the difference even after flossing it got food out from under your gums and honestly, I was thanking myself over and over that I had bought it and then it just stopped And then one night I was sleeping and I heard this pivoting sound and I thought it was my neighbor, maybe trying to put some furniture together drilling holes, and as I walked closer to the bathroom to use it, I heard the water pic just expressing water on its own, spraying it across the bathroom And it sprayed like a whole container full of water. It just went on by itself and then a couple days later it wouldn’t go on at all and then I plugged it in again and it went on for like three minutes and then it just stopped, and now it hasn’t worked for a week. I tried desperately to figure it out, but I just ordered another one yesterday and for $70. I wish I hadn’t bought had to buy another one I couldn’t figure out if this one could be repaired but you know it was after the 30 days so I suppose I’m stuck with the broken one and I’ve spent $70 to get another one, but I hope the next one last more than two months because you only have 30 days to return it , hope it last forever actually, I never heard it anyway properly anyway, I’m kind of bummed but looking forward to next I guess maybe cellar or someone will read this and consider sending me one

Battery could last longer
Needs recharging after 3-4 days, otherwise this product is marvelous.

Most frustrating device I've ever dealt with!
I had great hopes for this travel waterpik. My hopes were dashed. Charging it is the biggest problem. First, it doesn't come with a charging brick, leaving you to find one that will work. I have the Waterpik Ion, cordless, which comes with a brick, so decided I would use that one. It worked for a few days. So, I left it charging for several days and it worked for about a week. We traveled to Ireland and I had the appropriate adaptors and a convertor. When we got to the hotel, the previously completely charged device had NO power. Tried to charge it but it took 2 days get enough power. Meanwhile, I have both upper and lower bridges and implants and have to water floss to really get my teeth clean. I was extremely frustrated and very sorry I didn't bring the Ion flosser, which has some issues, but at least eventually charges up. But, it's bigger and because of the battery, airlines prefer it travel in your carryon luggage. About 5 days into our trip, the travel flosser started working. Then, on the 2nd to last day, it quit again. I've not been able to get it to charge again. I've tried different bricks, different outlets and no power or light at all. The manual also doesn't say anything about just using the USB port, but don't try it, it doesn't work either.I've purchased at 10+ Waterpics over the past 7 years trying to find one that fits my bathroom counter and find one for traveling. I think I'll try a different brand. I have a cheap, travel water flosser, rechargable, that I haven't used in over a year. It's very portable and I just tried it again and it's still got a charge. As soon as I can find their contact info, I'll be returning this travel Waterpic. They've already replaced the Ion Flosser twice because of charging issues, it's apparently my hard water and must be cleaned with vinegar at least once at month. That was never mentioned in the manual.Waterpic, you can do better! I'm really disappointed!

Just fine. Has it’s faults.
Certainly compact and travel-friendly, but is compromised with bad design choices. The snapping mechanism that “locks” the device in its two orientations is very finicky and fragile. After nearly a year of use, I’ve noticed that the plastic reservoir has cracked at the top due to how fragile the material is and numerous cycles of opening/closing it has to go through when either traveling or drying after use.On some occasions, I’ve found that the gasket between the unit and its reservoir will sometimes get stuck and leave the cutout position. When that happens, it completely locks up the sliding mechanism and you have to wiggle it back and forth so the ring reseats itself before moving any further. If flossing is absolutely necessary during travel, or if you have very limited counter space, this may be something worth checking out, otherwise I would avoid and hope for a more user-friendly iteration of this product to release in the near future.

I take that back -> Not defective battery
Fortunately I was unable to return it. It sat on the shelf for about a month.... So I pressed the "On" button. Boy, was I surprised. It was user error! I consulted the manual. I had been pressing the ON button too long. So it turned off, and on, an off..... Oh, I get it, just briefly press on. Low and behold, it works.I just felt so bad - I had to correct such a negative review.Unable to return this product after I used it. ONCE. Battery failed. I did the initial charge exactly as instructions, overnight. I was able to use it the next morning. But every time I tried to use it thereafter, it would send a couple of squirts, hiccup, then quit. So I tried to recharge, again. Each subsequent charge was exactly as before, one, two quick squirts followed by a spasm before stopping.I've tested several times using the WaterPik USB cord and another USB C. Exactly the same result each time. Charging overnight, it doesn't work the next day. Again I pressed start button, it delivers a quick squirt, then after a long pause, the next squirt tapers off. I turn it off after a few more seconds.BTW, this is my second dissatisfied Waterpix purchase. Fortunately Costco accepted return of a Waterpix set (regular , plus a portable) from Costco prior to this. This will be the second return of Waterpix's products.Since June 2023 I have found the corded Phillips Sonicare Power Flosser 7000 to be reliable.
