Great CCTV System - Excellent Customer support!
**Update - August 2022 system is now 5months old and its brilliant -but one of the cameras developed a fault - flickering/reverting to B&W now always in B&W- contacted Amazon who put me in touch with ZOSI customer support - They have been excellent! Despite the time difference -Rainbow- even Whatsapped me during his 'night time!- They went through a series of system check with me, giving advice however that failed to fix the problem. After doing all of the fault finding and confirming a faulty camera - they are sending out a replacement - FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT - there when you need it! Well done 'Rainbow' and ZOSI - Thank You! I've had a Zosi system for almost 7yrs, its never let me down and I always considered it a great value home system, it was only 720p but adequate for my needs/budget. I saw this one an Amazon at a great price and with my previous experience of Zosi it was a no brainer to upgrade to the 1020p 2TB system. It was also very handy that I was able to re use the BNC cables already in place and just swapped out the cameras. Set up was very easy - just followed the links and it was done! Even better, my old 8camera system is going to be reinstalled at my nephews! Great picture, easy set up and fantastic value in my opinion. I'd have no reservation recommending this system to anyone thinking about it!

Superb system, handicapped by poor PC software.
I bought during a lightning sale some months ago, and just set it up a few days ago. - The kit supplied is comprehensive, and the instruction manual far better than the one that came with my previous Annke system. The cameras are robust, of metal construction, and the screws/locknut for changing its angle are good quality, meaning that they don't strip if the screwdriver spins up on them. - There's a drilling template for each camera too, so that was a help. When setting up, you need to remember you have eight large double cables with ethernet head on one to get from outside to inside. - If you're not confident, get a tradesman to drill and run the cables for you. - You need a big hole to get 'em all through, and there's likely to be repairs to do afterwards. But when connected up, it runs superbly well on the screen it's directly attached to. (Tip, buy a cordless mouse so you can control it without having to be next to the DVR box.) - There's an easy to use interface, including a 4x and 8x zoom, with the 4x still leaving you with a full HD picture. Night vision is decent, but I don't feel it illuminates quite as far as stated on the box, but still is more than adequate. - The picture at night is very crisp, obviously in black and white. But the system falls down with its remote-viewing software. - It does not allow UHD, instead leaving you with an SD/HD choice, and with no zoom facility, even when logged in 'locally' and streamed over your own network. - *IF* the manufacturers invested a little more in better PC/tablet/phone software, it'd be more than worth a 5* review. Still, it is one seriously good CCTV system. :)

Great product. Excellent support
This is the second Zosi cctv system I've purchased (the previous purchase being in 2016). Both systems have sat in their boxes untouched until recently when I decided to set it up. Like any wiring job, it's tedious and time-consuming to route the wires all over the house to ensure a neat end result. Fortunately, we did a complete kitchen renovation and were able to install conduit in the ceiling through which some of the cables were routed together with cat6a ethernet cables for every room in the house. Wiring aside, however, setup is so easy. Connect the cables to the DVR. Connect the DVR to a TV or monitor and job done! I couldn't get the dome cameras that came with this dvr to work with the dvr I bought in 2016, but that's understandable. The bullet cameras that came with that dvr work fine together with the dome cameras on this latest dvr purchase. We now have both dvrs in operation: this lastest one as the main system covering the house and the 2016 dvr covering the back garden. I hit a snag when trying to view the system remotely with my old Lenovo T500 laptop running Windows 10. The manufacturer has various software to down load for windows, mac, android phones and tablets and iphones etc. But, I simply couldn't view remotely on my old laptop, which was a major disappointment. That's when Zosi's support team came to the rescue. There's a time difference so it took a week to get it sorted but the Zosi support (Joven) was brilliant. He eventually got Zosi's tech team to remotely work on my laptop and they established that the problem lay with the old graphics card. They got me to switch laptops with my wife and "bingo!", we were now able to view the cameras remotely. I now have the software working perfectly on two laptops. One of these days I'll invest in a smart phone and Zosi have apps for that, but, right now, I'm happy knowing we can go away with a laptop and be able to login and view all the cameras at our home. I've no doubt there are better cctv systems on the market but value-for-money-wise, it's hard to beat these Zosi ones and folks appear to buy the Zosi cameras for other makes of cctv systems because they're such good value. Happy customer!

Super value for money
Bought the Zosi 1080p 4 camera lite system (no hard drive) and have to say how impressed I am with its quality and value for money. Bought this having spent almost 12 months looking for a cctv system for my home, and struggled to find a balance between cost/benefit/ features etc. stumbled on Zosi system and for the price and with its reviews gave it a go, and haven’t been disappointed easy to install a hard drive bought elsewhere ( I got a 2tb surveillance HDD from cex that cost less than £30, so whole system plus HDD cost me £120 ) and the internal set up wizard is ultra easy to use along with easy mobile app. Image both day and night is clear ( night is b/w) ) system is stable and I installed it quickly and easily with the booklets supplied . For the price this is a total no brainer

Very good after sales service and decent cameras
I purchased the 4 camera system and fitted my own 500gb hard drive, set up was easy with the wired system. It is much more reliable over larger areas than a WiFi system. I did have an issue with one of the cameras, but after a quick chat with Ariana at ZOSI we were able to get it resolved with out much hassle, the cameras are pretty good and work well especially at night, the android app and pc app are easy to use and do the job with out much fuss. Overall I recommend this system and seller

Product OK, App needs some attention
The product itself is actually pretty good quality, relatively easy to install and set up if you are ok at hiding the wires, the problem is the App is rubbish and trying to get it on to a PC, I have all but given up. Night vision is good when you get enough distance, but if you bounce of a wall or floor you get a lot of light wash Back to the App it works its just not as smooth to operate as it could be with a little time invested, also often drops a channel or 2 and says not recorded, go to the box it's all still there.

Zosi 1080p
I bought this to replace an old 720 Zosi so I just had to swap out the cameras (leaving lower resolution ones as spares) and recorder. Old cables and camera faceplates were fine so new ones are now spares too. The night vision was definitely an improvement (though not particularly wonderful) as was the higher day time resolution (this also seemed to be adequate in colour at lower light levels than my previous Zosi cameras. I also installed the previous 1Tb hard drive from the original system so, for the money, this was definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Worst item I've ever brought!
I've never had such a poor cctv system, whilst you sometimes can get problems with electrical items this has been one after another. If you get a problem like one of the ones I had where the hard drive stops working the supplier will send u a link on how to open up the control box and check if it's plugged into the circuit board, if it is then they will ask u to connect the hard drive to your laptop etc to see if its working, whilst I have completed course in computer maintenance and would feel OK about doing this I certainly don't think it would be OK for most, and I don't know of any other electronic device manufacturers that would even let you open the case without voiding the warranty. Basically if you do have problems like I've had, water getting into 4 of the 8 cameras, interference lines on the picture, hard drive never working and the control box not coming on, then just be ready to jump through many hoops with Zosi to get the part replaced, or completely uninstall the entire system and send it back for a Amazon refund or just do what I've now done and give up on it ever working correctly and let it be a visual deterrent, at least the infa red lights still light up at night.
