Love my Garmin! In all the years I've had it, it never gave me issues. Was easy to set up and install, screen is great quality picture, very durable! I think the screen size is perfect not too big or too small!

We've used Garmin GPS Units for years and this one was a welcome upgrade. Compact, easy to use and works great in our car. Map update was quick and easy.

Garmin makes good GPSs, and this is no exception. Compared to some other ones I've seen, this is good because it is not trying to be your music system, or your calculator, or your smart phone - it is JUST a GPS, and does it well. So why the 4 stars? Two things. First off, it is disappointing that Garmin is still using old USB formats for their cable, and they stick straight out from the back of the unit. That makes it hard to mount on the dash, if you are clipping it into vents. They may be expecting that you use their post that suction/glues in place, but I have never had good luck with those. The second is that if you look online, you are going to see stuff that says that the Drive 53 can be updated wirelessly. This is NOT TRUE for this unit. Now, the page doesn't say it will, so Garmin is not lying. However, since it doesn't give much in terms of actual info, and what you find online is misleading... I am not impressed. (Wireless was something I was specifically looking for.) Both of these issues are not major, so I am only knocking off a star. I just wish it was different. Still think it is a good GPS, still kept it. Would still buy a Garmin again. (Even though they are a bit more expensive.)

Unit works great and is easy to use.

I had a Garmin for many years and had come to rely on it as I got older. One day it failed, as much as I tried, nothing worked. So, I was talked into a “smart phone” for replacing. IT WILL NOT!!! Ordered this, received it yesterday, used it today, I’m a happy senior lady!! I now know where I’m going, my speed, the speed limit, my direction, interesting areas along my route and everything I need to get me where I’m needing to be! Thank you for this wonderful little gadget!

I have given this only one star, not because of any Amazon issue, but because Garmin won’t even support its own brand-new product. The essence of the story is that I have had 3 prior Garmin Drives for my car over more than 20 years and I have loved them. They give me much more information than my in-car GPS, and the graphics are better. It mounts easily and unobtrusively. I bought the new Garmin Drive 53 expecting various improvements. Garmin uses “Garmin Express” to update the device and download current maps. This commonly takes more than an hour. After 3 attempts, each time with it abruptly ending with the message “An error has occurred…; but with no error number. Garmin will not let me talk to a human without me paying them something, and the Chatbot is an example of poorly conceived AI. Thus, I have had to return this new Garmin Drive and now find that Garmin had prevented me from updating my previous one which I have used every day. I hope the company management realizes what their AI is doing to them

Great navigation tool to have in our new Jeep since we didn't want to have to use our phone to activate GPS. I like the voice feature and maps are easy to follow.

Great features, predictive functions, fast response to satellites. Good price.

Could not get it working .bought it months ago for holidays this year and tried it this weekend. Updates done can’t find a good single anywhere. My phone does a better job
