Easily the best screen rez i have come across, tho it does cost some battery life. Upscales my older DVD's well, and handles anamorphic fine (can tweak rez in software menu). Has played all my burned discs fine. Does not do BluRay or other proprietary formats. Does the USB mpeg4 at 720 fine. Audio in small steps, but good and loud enough in laptop folded form. This is a design group, not just a re-badge company. Have good response on the Amzn replies. Had an issue with remote reception (it's receiver is behind a grill, rather than a window, and was blocked), and did a return. Amzn sent a Boifun instead, so got to check that one out also. This one has better display, so re-ordered it. Remote is full featured, tho not all functions are supported. ADDED: Looks like the POFOTO is a rebadged version too. This does have a powered antenna, tho i get better reception when the USB isn't powered up, and worse reception still when mag antenna base is attached to steel patio table. Does have a software signal strength on menu item. Channel scan isn't additive, it completely resets everytime it is run, so hard to tune antenna angle for max stations. may want to add a "ANTAN DVB-T655VA Indoor TV Antenna" for best reception. Ext antenna connector is near the front, which is annoying, but looks like it was so can reach USB power, and to not kink when in vertical travel mode. Comes with an auto charge plug too. That said, the HDMI input works great, i added a Router extender for home wifi, and a "H96 MAX Android 14.0 TV Stick 16GB" and get Prime and TUBI, Plex, Dark Matter TV (etc) apps, tho trouble with Google Freeplay. It also works as a DVD player for the 24" Sansui TV i use for sports in the mancave. No RJ45, but since you can access wifi (w dongle) should still be able to access NAS. This is actually a bit lighter than my old IGeek 15" DVD only player. Charger works pretty well, and while battery isn't the largest rated, it seems like it's enough for a full movie +. It doesn't seem to have an onscreen batt low visual, If it does run out, you lose the "resume" bookmark. I ordered a diff case for travel and storage, than is recommend. Check out the "Good E's Spacious Travel Carrying Backpack for PS5 with Zippered Pocket and Padded Protection". Has plenty of room for antennas, and acc. Havn't tried the USB game controllers with built in games on this, but assume they would work, since it handles USB movie play well. All in all, was pleased with this machine, and recommend if you want a wider platform than just DVD. Paid full price at 120, and think it was worth it. If you find it on special, is a great deal.

Well...so far, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FEIHE portable TV/DVD player and I've had it less than 24 hours! Now I have a tv in every room, lol! The setup was easier than I expected (for an elder technie) with the additional Amazon Fire Stick that I purchased. All set up for streaming and local stations, and DVD works great. Other reviewers are correct in praising the large remote that came with the player. Love the swivel screen so I don't have to crank my neck, haha. Now I have something to take with me on vacation or in case of emergency evacuation, lol! Very pleased and yes I recommend this product. Great size, color, well made, antenna, and sound. I love it!

A Roku IR remote will control the on/off and volume/mute settings of this Feihe TV/DVD combo by selecting the “TCL” brand when setting up the Roku remote. A scan of TV channels using the small antenna that came with it only detected 9 channels from my location. So I temporarily moved the coax from an outside antenna that is connected to a Samsung TV that detects 28 channels when it is scanned. Then, after rescanning, this device only detected 16 of those channels. So it doesn’t seem to have the most sensitive TV receiver, and using an antenna providing stronger signals does help compensate for this. However it does display nice images and has decent sound quality when receiving channels with strong signals. Also, several DVDs tested in it look and sound great. Since we purchased this to use as a portable TV, and it works great with DVDs and a Roku stick connected to a cellular hotspot, it does what we want. So I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 rating.

I purchased this for travel and emergency use. I expected mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised with this unit. It looks like a thick laptop. The materials are nice. Not luxurious but very nice. The buttons feel solid and not cheap. The remote is fantastic. The quality of picture is very good. Not incredible but very good. Picture and sound are fully customizable. The sound is a bit bland but hey, what do you expect from a portable unit? It’s not much worse than my 42” TV before I ran it through my Stereo system to be honest. It plays a wide range of DVDs and formats and I have confirmed that it will play any region DVD. Playback is smooth. I’m in a remote area blocked by a ridge so over the air TV can be challenging to say the least. I tried the antenna that came with it and it picked up four channels and then I bought a pair of Phillips rabbit ears off Amazon and it got eight channels. I’m sure with an outdoor antenna. I could do much better but it’s raining today so I’m not going to test that. I’m very happy with what I got. There’s no pixelating and picture quality is once again very good. This I it has an HDMI port and AV in/out to hook up other audio/video equipment or to send out the signal to a stereo/tv. Really nice features to have. Overall, this was a solid by. I’ve been running it off batteries for a couple hours with no issue. It takes about seven or eight hours to charge it. I definitely recommend this unit but if you do plan to use it as a TV, I would most definitely get a better antenna to supplement the one it comes with.

This is the best tv/dvd combo ever it's practical the color is clear the antenna has a very long cord so you are able to get it up really high for more connectivity I got 88 channels. I love this TV if mine I take it every where , I fully charge it and it lasts up to 4 1/2 hours.

Unfortunately...do not order! It looks amazing, but it has absolutely terrible audio (tinny and echoes) and the color is not of quality either. We purchased it because of the antenna option to get local over the air tv/news and with multiple scans with multiple placements of the antenna, got no TV stations. This was a huge disappointment. The concept is amazing but the functionality is not acceptable. We ended up using the DVD player one night, but unfortunately, I had portable DVD players 17 years ago that provided better quality than this device. Very unfortunate for the advances in technology today.

Great picture, easily portable, like others have said buy a better antenna, play around with location and placement to catch signals. I had no trouble getting 68+ the dash channels with a clear picture, the sound is good. Purchased for my son’s dorm, he raves about it so got one for home. Easily could be your only TV, for counter/tabletop or side table. It’s the size of a full sized laptop. The battery life is ok, we normally leave it plugged up but it’s portable. The screen rotates. There’s a HDMI, USB, headphone and audio in/out ports. Has taken and played all DVD’s even recorded. But...after having it for 7 months the very first thing that stop working early on with both was the remote, even with fresh batteries it just stopped working, never been dropped, it’s still in one piece. None of the buttons respond, it just doesn’t work at all. The second thing seems to be a software issue, it started automatically going to voice descriptions for the blind. You have to go through the menu and submenu to turn it off which is a pain with no remote and if you change channels you have to do it again. Second thing that happened is it automatically changes to Spanish language broadcasting during sports games, the announcers sound vibrant but I don’t understand and also you have to go through the menu to cut it off. One of the buttons is beginning to get slow to respond, surely it will stop soon. It’s never been dropped or mishandled. Overall am satisfied with the product, the picture is great and it can get loud, easily heard from other rooms with the volume up. Would be a good gift for people with limited space, if you on the go & don’t want to miss a show, for presentations or for seniors. We use it daily, was worth the purchase even with the annoyances.

Returned the first one, wouldn't power on. Then discovered (contacted reseller via WhatsApp) the power switch on the side. It's not listed in the Engrish manual, but it's there. Unit works good and receives well. Nice magnet mount amplified antenna included. Like it.
