I'm a DJ so I got this because my new MacPro is USB-C and my old one is USB-3. I use it to swap computers with the same cable instead of having to swap 2 cables. I just leave the adapter in one computer if I need to swap it. So far I have no problems transfering data or music. I also use them to charge my phone and tablet and it those the job. But if you do use it for charging is going to work a bit slow to charge since this is not probably meant for charging and specially if you use you computer to do so.

These are great products . I purchased 3 of these to connect my USB-C cable to a USB 3.1 power source and have had no issues with them over the past 2 months i I have been using this.

I use a docking station and I also have cable and an xbox that I use and the docking station is where I have to split the hdmi. My computer and the xbox do not have USB-C slots, so this solved that issue completely.

Works as an adapter from USB-C to USB 3.0. One thing to note is that it only works if you plug the USB-C cord in one way, I marked my USB-C charger with an arrow on the side that needs to align with the logo on the adapter.

Ok product. Build quality is average with respect to what it’s charged for.

These work perfectly for my needs. I keep one in my bag for travel, and another in my home so that I can reduce the number of cables I need. They stay attached well, and keep the cables securely in place.

These adapters are very snug, I have a difficult time pulling them out of the socket, or removing my flash drive from them. I have not tested data transfer speeds yet. What is puzzling me is that I ordered two of these 2-packs so that I would have enough adapters. What I received aretwo packages that were 3-packs. I received extra adapters I guess I shouldn't complain, but if I had known it was a 3-pack I would have only bought 1, saved some money and not had so many extra adapters laying around!

Does not function to charge iPhone 12.

USB adapter very good and useful.

I bought this little adapter to charge my iPad Air (2020 model) when travelling. It’s good quality, small and easy to use. Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. But I’m not sure that’s a product fault. The USB c charger is 20w. When I tried to use the adapter with other chargers they weren’t powerful enough So the adapter will work if you have the right power unit for your USB c device.

This has saved me having to buy extra USB-C cables to charge my new phone. I can continue to use the Lightning cables with the adapters. I have not noticed any issues with it. I can charge the phone, transfer photos, and use CarPlay with the cable + adapter.

Recently I have to buy a bunch of gadget for working at home . As my Mac is old I don't have USB 3.0 to connect to my iPhone and others with USB 3.0. This is a great little help and it comes in to USB adaptor . Very small and easy to use but you might want to put in the place where you can see .

Good deal to receive two adapters for this price. Quality is good..one major drawback and it was my main reason of purchase is that it does not transmit video as it is claimed in Q and A section. I used it to convert my type c usb hub to type a and connect to laptop. Everything connected to hub worked except monitor.
