These little notebooks are somewhat on the expensive side. However, the quality is way higher than I expected, so I don't feel bad about spending the money. I had difficulty finding a notebook that had an elastic band place holder that would fit in my shirt pocket. This one filled the bill. I was looking for a notebook with lined pages, both sides. This notebook has the second half filled with unlined pages. I wasn't happy about that at first, but then I found the blank pages more useful for drawing quickie diagrams than drawing on lined pages. I put a little sticky tab on the side of the first blank page to make it easy to get to that section, and now I use the blank pages almost as much as I use the lined pages.There's a perforated line at the top of each page, so tearing out a page is easy and neat.I usually use a Lamy fountain pen for writing my notes, and it writes cleanly with no bleeding, and the ink dries instantly. I occasionally use a Cross Edge ballpoint pen, and this writes well with no smearing after the ink has set for a few seconds.A product that's better than it needs to be, and on top of that, it looks nice with its vinyl front and back.

These are awesome! They fit in my pocket perfectly and make it so I can take notes any time (which is often). High-quality binding and paper with good perforation that tears cleanly. Elastic band holds securely so I can put other (folded) papers inside and they won't fall out. This is the second or third time I've ordered these specific notepads and I won't be changing to another in the future. Definitely a good, high-quality product.
