Super Great Pool Cleaning Robot!
We bought the Dolphin CC Plus WiFi Auto Robotic Cleaner which cleans a 40 ft length pool, ours is 29,000 ga, and it has been an amazing robot. We keep it scrupulously clean and use it several times a week if not more as trees surround our pool. Amazed that it climbs the pool wall surfaces and gets them clean! And dives down to the deep end effortlessly and cleans it too. We have had it two years and our pool is still open w/ this warm October. I set it up easily with the app and though we don’t use the app much it is reliable. Don’t use chemicals with the robot in the water and wash the easily accessible twin filters with each use and you’ll be stunned with how much gunk the robot picks up. Worth every penny. I read all the reviews before purchase and made my choice and we are very pleased. I made the decision to buy a little bigger robot than we needed but I felt it would pay off.

My Personal Experience W/ The Dolphin Nautilus +: CHOOSING, S & H, REPLACEMENT & FUNCTIONALITY
So. We put an in-ground pool in this summer, a big one, 20' by 40', slide, heater, diving board, 12 ft. deep end, 3 stairs, and a safety ledge which runs the length of both 40' sides. The pool had been up and running less than a week when it became obvious I would have to have a pool cleaner, referred to from here on as a "sucky" (blame the name on my mother). First, I looked locally for a sucky, and YIKES! the prices were outrageous, between $1500-2500 for what appeared to be an average sucky, although some of them had tails that whipped around, and others a remote control, and still others a programmable chip to tell sucky when and how long to run, and others which were wearing animal costumes?. I quickly realized that most of these suckys were going to require the installation of a separate pump to use them, which we had not had installed, and really didn't want to. I also realized for servicing, warranty or repair purposes, I better buy a brand that could be serviced locally, even if I didn't buy locally. I narrowed my selection down to either a Dolphin or a Polaris model, both of which could be serviced locally, then began searching online. After a lengthy search and then a comparison of my final 3 choices, I went with the Dolphin N+ model, for the following reasons which were stated in the item description: Size and weight of item was manageable for a single individual to move, put in, and remove from pool. Did not need additional pump. Able to clean safety ledge, steps, walls, floor, no problem, 4WD. Came assembled, ready to use, with extra filters. Filters were easy to remove and clean. Extra long cord should allow sucky to clean all parts of my large pool with ease. Replacement parts were readily available. Warranty was available. Next day delivery FREE available. Price was VERY competitive. Reviews were favorable. Sucky came with a computer chip which would map the layout of the pool, including ledges and steps, insuring sucky would do a thorough job, every time he was used. Sucky would take less than 2 hours to clean entire pool, THEN TURN HIMSELF OFF. I was sold. Ordered sucky, and he arrived the next day, JOY JOY JOY! I threw sucky into the pool and watched with great anticipation for sucky to do his thing. Sucky did nothing. Sucky was broken, arrived with a broken front mounting bracket for his front sucky wheels, causing the wheel to fall off when he tried to do his job. DEEP DESPAIR. I immediately felt sick, thinking $700, arrived broken and %#$&!?@ to get returned and replaced. Despondent, I contacted Amazon. To my amazement, they sent a return shipping label and a new sucky THE VERY NEXT DAY. AND SCHEDULED A PICK UP OF BROKEN SUCKY at my convienence. REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE I KNOW, BUT TRUE. Even better, the new sucky is amazing, and every thing said about him is indeed true, if I was to complain about him at all, it would be that his ledge and stair work leaves behind a bit of sand (salt water pool, sand filter), a very tiny bit, and I'd advise that you also purchase the storage stand, which isn't included but is sold separately, it gives a place to store the battery off the ground during use, a place to wrap the cord, and a little seat for sucky to rest on when he's not at work, and nice big wheels to move the whole thing around, similar to a moving dolly, but made especially for sucky. CONCLUSION: love purchase, easy to return and replace, does a great job, even on large pools, and reasonably priced. 2020 UPDATE: I get lots of questions from people wanting updates on Sucky every pool season, wanting to know if Sucky is still doing his job. I’m happy to report Sucky still works like he did back when he first moved in, and in 6 years, we’ve never had to replace a part, or had any problems. 2022 UPDATE: thought I should check in to tell you all we are still using sucky in our pool, and sucky still does a fantastic job keeping the pool sparkling clean, fully 6 year after we purchased him. We have had only one issue, and it’s a recent one, the button to turn him on isn’t working all the time, you have to repeatedly push it to get it to work sometimes. I feel like that’s to be expected, he wasn’t made to last forever. 6 years though, that’s an exceptional time frame for something like this, just a great choice of pool cleaner, yay me! 2024 Update: still working great, not a single issue. Now 8 years of use, and works just like it did when it was new. Just a superior product.

Buy 3 so you can have a reliable pool cleaning! Or look elsewhere to another manufacturer!
Where do I begin? I bought this from Amazon back in 2023. It worked perfectly until it stopped climbing the walls of the pool. Before I sent it out to Maytronic's authorized repaid center, under warranty to fix, I bought a back up. That was on March 23, 2025. 11 months after the first purchase. Upon receiving the new one, I sent the first one out for repair. It took 5 weeks to get it back! Has I not bought the second one as a "backup" my pool here in the Las Vegas summer heat would have been infested with algae! It took over 9 times to get the product to connect to the same wifi (2.4mhz) as the first one. Which was very frustrating. I placed it in the pool, and it worked fine an "climbed the pool walls" to do it's job as advertised. The first one was returned from repair and I noticed it looked the same as when I sent it. The guide wheels looked "used" as when I sent it. I casually dismissed the notion thinking it was "repaired" to its original working condition. Fast forward to September 18th. The back up (newest Dolphin) just stopped working. After 5 back and forth emails and phone calls, Maytronic finally agrees to issue a warrant RMA for repair. So, shipping cost for a second Maytronic dolphin was one me. Now I was out an extra $123.89 for TWO failed Doplhins plus the cost of over $1,845.00 for buying them. The back up only worked for less than 4 months in the pool! I place the original (repaired) Dolphin in the pool and the wifi hooked up immediately! BUT it would NOT climb the walls which was why it was sent in for repair! Unbelievable! Needless to say, it gets worse. The back up Dolphin gets sent again the their authorized facility and after the repair, and numerous calls to Maytronic's 3rd party call center in the Philippines, agrees to send a "prepaid" return label, the RMA and ship directly to Duluth Headquarters for repair. Meanwhile I have NO Dolphin in my pool and the algae grows. My back up plan failed miserably when I trusted their product! Now fast forward to October. I was promised another "prepaid label" to fix the wall climbing problem that wasn't fixed in the second repair!!! During this process (5 weeks now) Maytronics sends me an email. Customer Care Team Turns out that this items is being sent to Duluth by A DIFFERENT customer not my return replacement! Unreal! Si, now I have a missing Dolphin, and email after the first warranty RMA was issued, asking my to prove the purchase receipt. Thankfully, Amazon order history was able to show "proof of purchase". So ask yourself, how did they loose the original receipt and approve a warranty (RMA issued) ? Just to recap as of today the Dolphin sent in TWICE for repair so it can clean the walls of my pool is still not working and I am waiting for the RMA< Prepaid Label! The missing Dolphin sent to Maytronics Duluth location is still missing!!! 3 unanswered emails with notice of purchase sent, I have heard ZERO from this company! Would I recommend this product? Sure if you buy 3 for continuous back ups you might be ok. Will update this saga as in develops. UN pleased customer for sure! $2,000 later and still NO working product in my pool! Not to mention the added $386.00 of additional algae liquids I had to buy to keep the pool from turning swamp green.

Brilliant. Saves me so much time. Easy to use & clean when finished. Cleans pool really well. Don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner.

It really cleans well and has a good reach too. Able to navigate our odd shaped pool and even cleans the sides though it is quite random in how it goes about cleaning. It’s easy to wash the filters and operate the machine. Highly recommended.

After reading quite a few negative reviews, I had few major concerns when I purchased this expensive item. People reported that eero extenders could be a problem, robot stuck in the middle of the cycle etc. However, in my case I had no problem connecting to an eero router even without turning off 5GHz (eero offers such an option via application) It quickly connected and started cleaning the pool. It got stuck at 23% the first time, but was able to complete the cycle the next time. To be honest, after opening the pool it's not in the best shape, so I did anticipate it will take multiple rounds to clean it up. I did anticipate that after the first pass it would be 80-90% clean, but in reality it's about 60%, so I assume it will take 3-4 rounds to clean it up completely. Still much better than doing it manually. The length of the cable is more than adequate. I was surprised to learn that the control block is not waterproof, but water-resistant, so it should not be exposed to water (i.e. rain will be a problem) Well, it's a minor issue to me. Also, wall climbing seems to be exaggerated. So far, I have not witnessed waterline scrubbing (still learning) It does climb the walls, but stops short below the surface without reaching the waterline. Maybe some other routine does that - still learning. I did not see the software issues one of the reviewers described (cut the schedule line), though the need for the cloud connection is concerning (cloud connection did not stop the robot from moving though) Lack of notification on the phone when the robot is stuck or cycle complete is also slightly annoying. Simple thing to do and would save a lot of hassle. Cleaning the filters is a super easy process. Bottom line - so far so good. I'll see how it works in a long run, but it's definitely a huge time and energy saver compared to the manual cleaning. Update 3 days later. The pool is not sparkly clean after 5th cycle (1 is thorough, others are regular as I do not see much difference to be honest) Those disconnects from "cloud" are getting annoying. Usually, the connection restores rather quickly, but I had once to disconnect power to restore the connection. It seems wifi functionality of Dolphin can be improved. Also, I cannot get the robot to get to the waterline. The video shows nice waterline scrubbing, but in my case it stops on the first angle between floor and vertical wall rather than climbing to the waterline. Furthermore, I am totally puzzled by the sentence in the manual that the handle must be adjusted diagonally. What does it mean? How? Instructions are not provided. The handle can be adjusted, no doubt, but what is the right position? And what's the difference does it make? I guess I'll have to experiment or call Dolphin to figure out.

I picked this up when our polaris pool cleaner died. That cleaner was perfect for 4 seasons until it failed...not good enough for an expensive device. I thought I would try this one...the CC plus... and it was on sale so that was a bonus. The first time I put it in the water I did not correctly close one of the filter baskets and the propeller was getting jammed with leaves and it obviously did not clean the pool. After I fixed it and cleared the propeller I tried again and it worked extremely well! Other reviewers have said it does not climb walls. In fact it does. It also will move horizontally across the wall and clean the scum from the waterline. The cord does not seem to tangle after 5 cleanings (the polaris was annoying for that and always turned the same way). We have a large (41x25) irregular pool in the forest surrounded by trees and the pool needs a vacuum just about every day or two at the least. The 30 month warranty is better than competition...I am hoping for 8 years+.
