Be sure to upgrade your rings/screw caps as well. They are tin and will rust onto these lids. But the lids themselves didn't rust.

I know you use these for making sprouts etc. but I actually bought them so I could use the mesh and jar for doing my nails using a powder. It catches the excess as I apply it. But I also plan on using this in the kitchen for powdered sugar shaking or cinnamon sugar on cookies. It works well if I need to rinse off food or other objects to strain off water in the jar (example: you water canned something. You now want to open the jar and drain off the water, remove the solid lid and replace with one of these, screw the ring back on and start draining the liquid in the sink or pot, no food will pass). For mom's with young kids, they like to catch a bug or frog and put it in a jar? This allows them to have air without ruining a solid lid to poke holes in it.

So far so good. Perfect for lentil sprouts!

Exactly what I needed for sprouting beans for my chickens!

These lids drain very well and had a bright grey sterl color. They fit my mason jars with no gaps. However, I would not buy them again. They rusted terribly the first time I used them. I understand that metal rusts when exposed to water, but these stainless steel lids rusted too after the first use. The product description made me feel like there would be no issue of rust. They caused my lids, which had no rust, to become rusty.

The lids came quickly and were exactly as described. I cut off one star because they rusted while growing the sprouts

Rouille à la première utilisation!!! Quand j'ai voulu renvoyé parce que le produit n'est pas conforme, le vendeur a refusé le renvoi parce que l'article a été utilisé... Heureusement que le service client Amazon est plus sérieux!

Très bon couvercle plat de filet en acier inoxydable antirouille. Si vous observez de la rouille cela provient de l’anneau de serrage qui est fait en acier ordinaire et qui peut rouiller lorsqu’il y a de l’eau pendant longtemps. Pour la croissance en pot c’est excellent pour les semences plus grosses exemple: daïkon. Pour les semences fines exemples: carotte, le rinçage n’est pas efficace parce que les semences fines bloquent l’eau dans le filtre et dans le pot Masson.
