This is the best gaming motherboard with none of the gamer slop.
This is THE best AM5 board with none of the "gamer slop" seen on many other boards. No RGB header. No gamer VRM'S. No pretty colors on the board. What it does do, it does well. Support for Ryzen 7000, 8000 & 9000 CPU's? Check. Two M.2 sockets with one being Gen 5? Check. M.2 Key for adding Wifi? Check. I have mine paired with a Ryzen 7 7700X and it's been rock solid since 2023 and with a M.2 SSD, it boots under 10 seconds. Highly recommended.

Great board to diagnose my components
I actually picked this up open box from Amazon Warehouse. They are hit or miss as always, but this was a solid hit. Board arrived basically brand new but with a damaged box. My main x670E system suddenly died and I had no idea what worked or what did not so I picked up this little gem to test my X670E motherboard components ( 7800X3D, 2x sets of DDR5, 980 Pro SSD, etc...) Good news is this board works great and booted right up with all my components. Bad news is my X670E board is dead. As for this board itself, it is no frills but working fine. It does have a set of diagnostic LEDs on the bottom so you can tell what is working or not and two slots means better and higher memory speeds if pushing the new 8000+ ability. It handles the 7800X3D just fine and the VRMs actually have ok heatsinks. I wouldn't try to push a 7950x/7950X3D in here full tilt. Couple this with a 7600x and some 6000 DDR5 sticks of ram and you have yourself a really nice AM5 system for a great price

Good specs, no issues so far
Offers good specs for the price. Haven't had issues after more than a year.

The best board on AM5!
This board has had many reviews on its potential as a long-term board, similar to AM4 boards from back then. You do lose some things, such as 4 dimm slots; however, that's actually good. You don't get any crazy RGB, sadly, no post-code LED, and the board might be ugly for some people. DDR5 has a big stability issue going on that Intel and AMD are trying to figure out with their motherboard manufacturers and chips. I've personally owned a i9 13900k/DDR5 8000Mt/s system and worked on other people's systems; a normal user would struggle just getting 7400 on their own, and XMP doesn't even work reliably. This includes AMD, but AMD doesn't really get much performance boost from fast RAM. You also have 2x16 ddr5, which is the "native" ram, so it's already pretty large. The two dimm slots will also let you push your RAM. AMD has pushed and is continuing to push some insane DDR5 bios improvements. I am able to hit 8000 MHz ram on this board so far; it is not exactly stable, but by the time this review is read, it probably will be. I am using a 7800x3d, and there are many others who use a 7900x3d+ and have had no issues. You will need to touch the bios for a bit, such as PBO, and hit some numbers, but you can always check out "BuildZoid" on Youtube for help in improving some performance. Overall, this is a great budget board but also a great board to push some limits as AMD improves their stability systems. For boot times, many people who are using standard 6000 Mt/s RAM will probably boot up to 20 seconds, especially on the recent bios. Also, if you cannot flash bios, please use the flashback bios method! It will properly update your BIOS instead of just rebooting and not working. Unless you are benching for cool numbers, buying 6000 cl30 or so ram will be the best perf per dollar you will get.

Software issues without solution
Worst experience for my first gaming pc with this motherboard, nothing but problems with the booting, took it to a tech site looking for solutions came to the conclusion that the problem is the motherboard’s software and is not fixable until replaced, even if you update thru their website, NOTHING changed.

Good board for the money
I purchased this motherboard as a replacement for an asus board that had died on me and so far it's running pretty good. I paired it with a ryzen 7 9700x and it handles that cpu well. I've had no issues with the board. In terms of value I do feel like asrock put the budget for this board in the right places. You get a good vrm heatsink , you get bios flashback, you get an interacted io shield and decent io in genreal ,Nothing out of this world but definitely good enough for a typical setup. However the board isn't perfect and there are some things a buyer should be aware of. There is no rgb header on this motherboard so if you are planning on having rgb you will need an rgb controller like the one built into my case. There is no wifi so if you need wifi you will need to buy a wifi card which I thankfully already had. The bios isn't the most feature packed or well made thing ever. Definitely not as good as the bios found in other board makers , and your only getting 2 ram slots which does limit how much ram you can put in here although I don't expect people buying a board at this price range to be loading up on ram.

Great board, almost perfect.
It is basically perfect, great start up times, cool temperatures, fast nvme ports, post lights, good ram compatibility, nice expo support, nice anesthetics, port for wifi card, decent usb number although i would have liked more and a good price. Only inconvenience is it has no rgb ports, it is not a problem for me but it is annoying.

Works like a dream
Aside from this board taking aver 2-weeks to ship, I was pleasantly surprised by this boards functionality. I purchased a 7900 xtx, a Ryzen 7 7800x3D and some blazing fast DDR5 ram, at that point I really didn’t want to spend $200+ on a motherboard. As I was searching for a great board for a great price, this board kept coming back to me over and over. It’s perfect for gaming, it has all the components you need to run high end cards/processors, so long as you don’t mind that it doesn’t have RGB capability or WiFi (unless you purchase the WiFi adapter separately), then this is the board for you. I also LOVE how easy it was to update the Bios as well as the automatic driver update assistant. Literally as easy as clicking “update”. Great board.
