Is it normal to have spark when using the drill?

if the drill is well used it could be that the brushes are worn out which will cause sparks while it is running. Not usually something that happens. If its a newer unit there are no brushes so I don't know what it could be unless it's won out.

It doesn't pass the smell test. This drill/driver is listed as a Milwaukee 2606-20, but the brand is shown as Milwaukeey.
