Very good
Excellent knee pads. Just had both knees replaced and will use these when shooting or doing yard work. We'll made and done by a vet! Many thanks for your service

Great knee pads that stay on during use
I have had these for a few months and have worn them several times during indoor and outdoor installation jobs. So far, so good - they work well as long as enough of the velcro makes solid contact on both straps but once they are on they stay on.Knee pads are inherently a little warm and take time getting used to, but it beats kneeling on the hard floor and doing more damage to knees working in factory, outdoor, or commercial install jobs.

light, comfy but a bit snug
Overall I was very happy with these knee pads. I bought them for playing airsoft in the forest with lots of crouching and kneeling behind fallen logs and the like.I am 6' and weight about 230 and have huge calves due to all the dancing I do so these were a little snug strapping on. However once I got thevstraps adjusted they stayed in place all day without incident.pros: light, durable, comfymy old pads had heavy plastic plates on them which became quite heavy thatblast round. I never felt these all day and didnt notice a huge difference when I took them off. After a hard days play they didnt show any wear.cons: a little difficult to adjust at first, a little tight at the end of the day.It took me a few tries to get them adjusted. maybe I had to break in the velcro on the straps, I am not sure. Others have said that the straps are a litle close together. I would have to agree. I noticed that when I took them off that the back of my knees felt a little pinched but not severly. Perhaps if you have thinner legs it would be all right.overall I would recommend these pads. Despite the few shortcomings I would more than likely buy a new pair.I have come to realize that the pinching of the back of the legs that is mentioned in other posts are in fact the pant leg fabric bunching up. As I mentioned I have felt it but not consistantly. The last time I noticed it Imeas idly pulling on the pant leg to readjust it. The fabric slipped andvthen I realized my leg had been hurting. So saying that these things fit snugly is an understatement.

Strong, comfirtable, and good fit
When I first opened these I thought "Holy crud they're huge" but eventually when you fit them on, they don't really look that big on you. I'm not a big guy, I'm a little smaller than average - I weight 170 pounds and I'm 5'9 so I'm pretty thin and not big boned or anything. They are NOT too tight or too pinchy either. They are very comfortable, and I wear them for work so I wear them around 5-6 hours a day non stop. I've seen several reviews say that they are flimsy or crack easily, but in my experience these people are full of it unless they test the pads out by getting hit by a car afew dozen times. They do come with 2 merges on each side for each knee pad and they look like "cracks" but they are not cracks, they are molding merges and they make it so that the material is more flexible for when you move your knees, without those two merges on each side it would be much harder to bend the hard plastic molding which in turn would make bending your knees much harder - so it is a GOOD thing.I would strongly recommend these to anyone else looking to protect their knees for either work or government work or even hobbies. There is one last thing, each knee pad has a paper tag on the inside indicating name and date and which leg to put them on - this can eliminate some of your stealth abilities because they make a cracking sound when you bend your knees. You can fix this by unknotting the thread that is tying the tags down and just writing on the inside with a marker L or R for which leg they fit.

Comfortable and protective, Glad I bought them.
Easy to put on. Very comfortable. I have not ( I say with some pride) needed them so far in learning to carve with a Trikke, but they're solid, stay where I put them, and when kneeling on them, are very cushioned and protective. I feel quite confident that they'll work well if I land on my knees. HOT, but that's to be expected with heavy padding. They're fitted, so watch the tag for left and right or they'll feel a bit out of place. One disclaimer here -- since I have not fallen hard while wearing them, I have no way to know whether the velcro holds in a hard tumble. It hasn't come loose with normal movement.

Work well. Could fit more securely.
I use these for fire dept training in a metal building. They are comfortable and protect my knees and gear from the floor. My only complaint is they don't like to stay in place and need a lot of adjustment.
