Its the first time I have tuned a piano and this works great, everything in the kit has come in really useful throughout the process. the rubber wedges help isolate strings and the tuner is long enough with enough leverage to fine tune, even with the old piano I am attempting to restore. The wrench is nice and long and well made. It is solid and fits my standard size square tuning pegs perfectly. It slides on really far, so I wasn't worried about it slipping off. Long enough to fine tune even tough strings. The rubber wedges are brilliant for muting the strings you aren't tuning (3 strings per key. I tune them individually with a tuner, then check them together to fine tune by ear) The felt strip was too thick to squeeze between the sets of strings on my piano, so I didn't use it. The wedges are ace though, so that didn't matter. Nice little case to keep the stuff together.

Probably need a longer hammer. Fiddly to silence high treble strings

Good equipment! The wrench fits well with all kinds of pianos and due to its octagonal shape, it allows you to position your hand at any angle for a good grip. The mutes are pretty good, the rubber lasts and it "sticks" to the string well. However, there could me a shorter mute as well. :D

A more expensive set may allow you to make finer and more accurate adjustments to the tuning (speeding up the whole process) but if you have a couple hours free this is a lot cheaper than a piano tuner. Especially useful if you have a couple newer strings (replacing broken ones) which go out of tune more quickly than the rest of the piano for the first few years.

Works fine, fits my piano, easy to use with a youtube video. Nice plush storage bag. Ykey seems robust. Recommended.

Just wanted the hammer (wrench thing) but it came in a nice little zippered kit pack thing with bits and bobs. Don't know what I was thinking buying it tbh - but I've fixed one or two stray unisons on the piano so I guess it's handy to have. Seems sturdy enough for that.

The tuning hammer is well made. The tip is a #2. The case is well constructed and has room for more tools. Overall its a good quality kit which has allowed me to tune a 104 year old piano recently restored.

It makes tuning pianos so much easier!

This is a good kit, obviously more economical than hiring an outsider, and a great learning experience for anyone new to piano tuning! My non-max "ease of use" rating is not really the fault of the tool set; it's just that my inexperience found piano tuning an inherently non-easy process.

Kit tout à fait convenable pour le prix. Ne pas hésité à bien enfoncer la clef du marteau sur les chevilles du piano. Le manche est assez long pour permettre un réglage précis.

Ich musste mein Klavier (ca. 100 Jahre alt, Wilh. Hauschildt, Kiel) stimmen und habe dieses Set gekauft. Es hat mich bislang nicht enttäuscht. Ist kein herausragendes Produkt, aber es eignet sich bestens und der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung.
