Good long arms to act as force lever
Nice and simple tool to my range. I bought these as they matched the plier set I had just bought. These replaced a old cheap pair that had no faces left and just usless. These feel tough and fit for all jobs, comfy in the had and well built. They are on the large side so a solid pair for all jobs, and will give a good leaver action Added piciture so you can see the size in my hand. Hope this is of use

A great idea.. A quality brand.
A good quality, robust set of Pincers. That special Compound Joint makes all the difference, it allows these smallish handy Pincers/End-cutters to punch way above their weight. I tend to use these a bit sparingly, keeping them fresher, for when an ordinary or cheaper set are beginning to struggle. It stops them from being rough-housed as much. I can't remember being disappointed by a Stanley product anyway. Certainly at times I've found it best to pay the extra few quid for a quality brand, it's often meant down the road I've had something still reliable to hand when most needed.. Thank you.

Nice job, feels good to use
I can't really fault this. It's not at a premium or low cost, the head opening is a little bit smaller than I expected. You will find it easier squeezing this than the older traditional ones I've had. The handles are comfortable and long. I'm happy with it I use it for cutting and removing nails. Removing some of the wider rivit heads would be an issue, it had the juice to cut them but the head does not open as much as it would on the regular unit, buts that's to give you a better lever effect which it certainly does, you can't have it both ways. It will cut through staples very quickly as you are getting more force in the cut , a regular unit might be better for that

The Good and the Bad
The Good ;- good quality, strong and sturdy, stanly has definitely improved it’s game over the years. The Bad :- The only bad is that the size of the opening is a little restrictive. I purchased them to remove the buttons from jeans and they don’t go over the button. The largest button is only 17mm wide, so that though give you an idea of the opening. I shall clip the sides before removal and adapt to them but, I thought it was worth noting.

Great for stripping nails from pallets
Bought this for stripping nails from wooden pallets (to make kindling wood). I needed to replace my existing cutting pliers which were OK, but the thin-ish handles were not comfortable after prolonged use, giving me sore hands, and levering the nails our took a few too many actions. These pliers have wide comfortable grip handles and with the large head are great at levering out the nails in one or two movements. An excellent buy for my purposes.

Very well made
I have a pair of pincers I inherited from my dad 40 years ago. They're small, all metal ones and I frequently pinch my finger between the handles when using them in tight spaces. Bought these in readiness for dismantling and re-assembling several pieces of flat-pack furniture having rear panels nailed on. They worked a treat, no pinched fingers now. Have to say that their wire cutting qualities far exceed my expectations, as witnessed by cutting the heads off several nails by accident, when trying to remove them!

Pricy but a lifetime purchase so worth the money
I expect to be pulling a large number of nails from some wood. These feel good and the force multiplier makes work easy

Good but no cigar
Make better snips / cutters than pliers, I bought them to remove a great deal of fine nail gun nails on skirting boards, unfortunately they cut through more than they removed, good build quality, but better for larger nail removal.

Inte riktigt så kraftig som den ger sken av, men 3mm ståltråd fixar den bra. Kvalitetsmässigt kommer den nog hålla livet ut.
