I bought this hub because I need a stable Ethernet connection for work on my MacBook Air (M4), and it has helped me a lot. It has been working exactly as intended with no issues over the past two months. I work a 9 to 6 shift with two days off, which means I use this hub for around 160 hours per month, and I’ve had no connection problems at all. I use it with an external monitor, and at the same time it fast charges my MacBook when connected to my 65W UGREEN charger, which makes it a perfect combination for my setup. I’ve seen some comments mentioning overheating, but I personally haven’t experienced this issue at all. The hub is also very simple to use, just plug and play with no setup required. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient hub for daily work use.

Absolutely functional, easy to use (plug and use) and perfect size to carry around with your laptop. Price point is fair and includes just the ports I needed (plus gives me back the possibility to charge my laptop through it instead of making me use another thunderbolt port, awesome!) Haven't tried the ethernet or hdmi connections yet but all the other connections have been flawless. Using this to play iPad music on my old stereo system (BOSE 901 speakers) via UGREEN USB C to RCA jack adapter to the amp. There may be a better way to do this but the set-up works and doesn't degrade the sound quality. In fact, in some cases the sound is better than playing the same album from the audio CD. No problem charging the iPad using the adapter while playing music. I haven't noticed the adapter becoming hot. Will update review if I run into problems with either the ethernet or hdmi.

I purchased a new MacAir and I need to switch out all the cables from lightning (from the old MacBook Pro) to USB-C. In addition, gone are the USB ports and the HDMI. This UGREEN solved all the mysteries of getting everything connected. I did a hard search for something that will connect to the external monitor and wired internet, affordable but more important a small unit that will connect everything to a single USB-C. I've purchased UGREEN products before so I gave this adaptor a try. I plugged in two printers, an external drive, monitor and connected directly to the internet line. The external power port wasn't used. Everything worked fine: printed, transferred data and the second monitor is on. The USB-C UGREEN adaptor gets unplugged after everything shuts down and the laptop is ready to go. My overall assessment: Pros: Well built, solid feel, nice metal body. USB-C cable is flex-covered and USB-C plug is metal Solid connection points, firm and nothing loose Everything works like it should Cons: The metal body scratches easily. Not a deal breaker but after a few weeks of use, it looks like it has been on the bottom of a backpack for months. It sits quietly on my desk and it still gets scratched. Go figure. Bottom line: The UGREEN USB-C Adaptor is a great choice especially using a connected internet (vs WiFi) and HDMI out for the second monitor. No complaints and the UGREEN products continues to deliver. Happy Connections!

I have a very similar one from Anker but for whatever reason, it decided to stop outputting video over the HDMI. I have a few UGreen products that are nearly identical to Anker. Anker is usually my go to brand but I opted for UGreen this time around for the replacement. Quality is just as good as Anker, price was somewhat better and this solves all my needs for my laptop which has limited ports. I've been just as happy with my Ugreen stuff as I have been with Anker...

I bought this for a MacBook Air M1 that has only 2 USB-C ports and I have connected a mouse, keyboard, monitor, an Ethernet and the charger, all works perfectly and the USB transfer rate is also pretty good. I love the fact that with only one port I can connect and use everything on my desk and if I have to get out I simply disconnect it and I'm ready to go. Although it warms up a little, doesn't seem to affect its functionality.

It's not really a docking but more a hub. I needed something with a USBc charger and connector which also included ethernet to not loose any more ports. The only trouble i had was that i couldn't use it with the UGreen 65W charger i already had but it worked perfectly with the Dell 90W USBC charger i already had. It seems there is some issue with some chargers. I also tried with ah 160W OnePlus charger and that also didn't work. But Ugreen is solving the issue, i was helped really good by the service department, so points go also to them.

Happy with the product and gives all the options that we were looking for.

For those without a monitor with a built in hub, this would be the go-to dock. With lots of ports to connect from and a longer than typical USB C host cable. Able to display 4K resolution but with slight display lag. Stable and does not drop connection throughout my use
