Great Filament, Easy to Work With, and the Color Pops!
I bought this spool to print an EZ22 project (if you know, you know 😄) and thought the pink would make it more fun — and it definitely delivered. I normally stick with Hatchbox, but the price has gotten a bit high, so I decided to give ELEGOO’s PLA+ a try. I’m glad I did. The filament worked flawlessly with my Ender 3 V2 running a Sprite extruder/hot end, and I didn’t even need to change my usual Hatchbox settings (205°C nozzle / 60°C bed). Adhesion was solid, the filament fed smoothly, and I didn’t run into any of the common issues like clogging or inconsistent diameter. The color is vibrant and holds up great even after sanding, which isn’t always the case with cheaper filaments. Print quality was clean, layer lines were minimal, and post-processing went smoothly. Overall, this is a high-value, reliable filament that performs just as well as more expensive options. I’d absolutely recommend giving it a try, especially if you want bold color without paying premium pricing.

Exceptional Print Quality and Flawless Dimensional Accuracy!
I was immediately impressed by the printing experience with this ELEGOO PLA Plus. The dimensional accuracy (+/−0.02mm) is truly professional-grade; I haven't experienced a single clog or filament jam across two full kilograms of printing, and the consistency translated into perfectly smooth layer lines on everything from large structural parts to fine detailed miniatures. Bed adhesion is fantastic, even on simple glass beds, and the deep, rich black color is uniform and delivers a beautiful matte finish to the final products. This filament requires very little tuning—just set your standard PLA+ profile, and you're ready to go. What truly sets this apart from standard PLA is the sheer toughness and durability of the finished parts. My test prints that usually snap under moderate stress with regular filament were significantly more resilient when printed with this PLA+, holding up better to bending and impact—the "Tougher and Stronger" claim is definitely valid. For the price, getting two 1kg spools offers outstanding value, making it my new go-to bulk filament for projects that need both strength and precision. If you own an FDM printer and need a reliable, strong, and consistently accurate black filament, I wholeheartedly recommend the ELEGOO PLA Plus—it’s a clear 5-star winner and a permanent fixture in my workshop.

Reliable PLA+ Filament – My Favorite for Bambulab X1C
I’ve been using the ELEGOO PLA Plus 1.75mm White filament with my Bambulab X1C, and it works exceptionally well. The prints come out strong and durable, with minimal stringing and excellent layer adhesion. The dimensional accuracy is consistent, which makes it easy to print precise models without worrying about warping or fitting issues. The filament feeds smoothly, and I haven’t had any jams or tangles during use. Overall, this is my favorite PLA+ filament so far. It’s tough, reliable, and produces high-quality prints consistently. Highly recommended for anyone using a Bambulab X1C or similar 3D printers.

Fantastic Filament — Smooth Prints Every Time
I’ve bought ELEGOO PLA+ three times now and it’s quickly become my go-to filament. The quality is consistent across every spool — no tangles, no weird diameter issues, and it prints beautifully right out of the box. The layer adhesion is excellent, the finish looks clean and professional, and it sands and paints really well (which is perfect for cosplay builds and detailed projects). Compared to regular PLA, the PLA+ feels stronger and less brittle, so my parts hold up better. Also, I’ve had zero clogging issues, and the spools are always vacuum-sealed with desiccant, so I know I’m getting fresh, dry filament every time. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, reliable PLA+ that just works, I highly recommend ELEGOO. I’ll definitely keep coming back for more.

Best quality for the price
So far it has been the best HS PLA ive had for the price and amount. my prints have been solid, consistent and often they surpass the strength and rigidity I require from the material.

Great product, runs very smooth, good price
UPDATE: Material is still as below but I have now started to get the same issues as others have reported regarding the cardboard spools. In my case, both sides of the spool are not alligned with each other. This is causing the spool to wobble and then eventually bind in my CFS unit. It's very annoying because I will be hours into a print and maybe not home when it does it. Now, there is a print line in my project because of the long pause. Original Review: I was finishing up a spool of another brand and half way through it switched to the Elegoo and the results were outstanding (In the pics, you can clearly see where). I won't mention the other brand as honestly I'm fine with it and I'm sure with some different settings it would run just as good. But the Elegoo is running flawlessly on my K2 Plus with default profiles. It is printing so smooth you can barely see the print lines. I've run 5 spools so far and have had really good results.

Overall a great filament
The ELEGOO PLA Plus white filament prints easy and smooth out of my Creality K1c. But ive never had issues with filament from Elegoo. I used this to print a small Christmas village for my wife and it turned out great! It was able to get great details on the brick chimneys and the stone pavers with very little sanding required. I found that if you do less than 10 percent infil with only 1-2 walls, lights from tea candles pass through it fairly well, and if you dont want light to pass through it, add some extra walls to thicken it up. I had no issues with this filament clogging or binding up and highly recommend it.

Great price for what you get
It is a reliable filament for a reliable price. It was an evolution in settling down on a brand, but no regrets here. I have had some better and some worse, but this is something that I can always count on. I now how it will behave from season to season. I know if the house humidity is over 35 percent, I am going to dry it to print it. I am ok with that idea. It stores well enough. roll to roll, the color stays pretty close. I have good bed adhesion, then it comes off the bed when you want it too. Unless I need some real exotic color, Elegoo is how I roll. I bet out of 50 rolls, I have only had one where I thought it had a tangle in the factory winding of the spool. I still trust the spool to go off and let it print without problems. The silks can be a bit brittle coming off the spool, but take your time and avoid sharp bends when loading, and then I think you will be fine. Unless I am used to it, the PLA does not smell at all when printing. I have sat in the same room as the printer for a year and half now and not growing any weird body parts. I am happy with the price over quality.
