This was the first time that I bought a DecoArt varnish although I have used other brands. I can honestly say that this is one of the better brands I've tried. I used it to seal and shine rock painting that I created for sale. Because these rocks will be sold, I need to be sure that the finish is a great quality. I am not disappointed. The varnish was easy to use. There is no smell which is a good thing because my husband suffers from allergies. He is very sensitive to chemicals and odors so I have to make sure whatever I use in the house does not have any smell. Application is smooth. I use a small foam brush. It dries quickly. It doesn't clump. Cleanup is quick and easy. A little soap and water and it's done. The finished appearance is exactly what I am looking for. A nice smooth shiny satin look.
