Dial depth gauge

Mitutoyo 7222 depth gauge - Works well, you can put the tip of the probe in a hole or a scratch and measure the depth reasonably accurately. It would be nice to have a cut out in the base (the cylinder between the probe tip and the dial) so you can see exactly where the tip actually is - I never got around to making the modification. Amazon is the only place I was able to find this part. The price was very good and although I could have made something with the resolution and features I wanted the cost would have been outrageous.
