I bought this for my Bosch router (1617). It’s perfect. Not only did it fit but there’s even a hole for adjusting it so I don’t need to buy a lift. This is exactly the same size as the Kreg one but this one is way better since it’s pure metal (i believe aluminum?). There’s a template for it on Makerworld.com if you have a 3d printer which was also why i bought this one. The plate itself is very flat, and is stunning. It’s much thicker than the cheap plates you find on Amazon and it’s also bigger too. I only have two complaints but they’re extremely minor and I would 100% buy this again 1) There are a lot of holes. It’s universal and you can plug most of them but there are still quite a few of them. Doesn’t bother me but I do wish they included plugs for them 2) It comes with a bunch of bolts to secure it but it doesn’t come with nuts. I found that kind of weird but not a big deal.

First: to those who cannot seem to find the hole(s), try using the original base. This insert is perfect. Fit my Bosch exactly as described, but oddly would not work with the plunge base, only the original base that came with the router. I am always amazed by some people’s inability to figure things out. This insert is perfect for the large Bosch router with the fixed base. Do not listen to those with under 80 IQ’s.
