Shapes well
Fits my 115mm Bosch grinder, shapes well and removes plenty of timber, just remember to keep a good grip as can snatch , but no where near as much as some cheaper grinder shaping accessories I have, well made and you get what you pay for

Don’t compromise with cheap alternatives
This is very well built, completely worth the money. Worked well on pine wood and had hardly any clogging with resin. Don’t bother with the cheaper alternatives, this is miles better.

Extreme
The Kutzall Extreme shaping dish is brilliant! It removes material really well, even on a very dense wood like Padauk. It doesn’t catch (so long as you don’t jam it down hard on the wood. But then, why would you? Unless you really have no clue about safety…) So easy to clean off if it gets packed with sawdust, either burn it off or wire brush it. (I use a wire brush, much safer to not use naked flame it a workshop filled with wood and various flammable liquids) There are other makers of these shaping dishes out there. Some MUCH cheaper and some more expensive. Avoid the cheaper versions (buy cheap, buy twice) and why pay WAY over the odds? The Kutzall is priced fairly IMO and a great piece of kit.

Really great. Skinned my husbands hand
My husband is a hobbyist wood worker. He was working on a rocking horse and bought these to make an impact quicker to what he was doing. Worked really well and cut out a lot of the faff work. He was doing but caught the top of his hand and even wearing protective gloves 1 second was enough to shred the glove and the top of his hand so use with caution!

Really good
So I had a similar but much cheaper attachment I was using before. I then switched to this. The difference was night and day. The spikes in this attachment are genuinely sharp. I drove it into some very old and dry wood I’ve got at home and it went through it like butter. I’ve used it several times since opening it and it seems just as sharp as it did originally out there box. Honestly very much worth the purchase and i haven’t been able to find anything cheaper/alternative at this high quality level

Cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter
I love this. I used it to scoop out the deeper parts of items that I am making and it works so much more efficiently that plain flap discs or anything else I can use. It is quite expensive for what it is so it loses a star, but as far as quality and usefulness is concerned it is 5 star. I used it to do some of the shaping on this first "tiki" head shown in the picture and that whole head represents about 1.5 hours work start to finish. It would have taken far longer with flap discs and a grinder.

Clogs
Needs frequent clearing g with strong wire brush

Priceless
Priceless. On a powerful grinder it rips through wood like it’s nothing. Can take a cut of maybe 5mm in one swipe with very little effort. Haven’t experienced any kickback at all and it feels very controllable. The rough finish can easily be sanded with a foam pad on the grinder and normal sandpaper.
