Daughter loves it
I was slightly concerned about the bad reviews, I bought this for my daughter who loves star wars. The bit she was most impressed with it the alarm sounds like R2D2. Bar that it was easy to set up and hold the time

My son loves it. However the alarm sound is quite low.

Worth it the money
I buy it for a gift for my friend, and it’s really worth it the money. I feel like I want to have one for myself. The alarm produced by R2-D2 is so cool that you want to finish listening to it and not turn off the alarm immediately. I keep bragging on my friend that it comes from Germany.

time to wake up
The wake up alarm is very good. the least annoying weak up call I've ever heard. It has no battery backup so if there is a power cut in the night your going to be late for work. The backlight is so bright you can't have it facing you at night, and there's no way of turning it off.
