Fun Living Rechargeable Ergonomic Handle Lighted Crochet Hooks 9 in 1 Compact LED Dimmable Complete Set with 9 Interchangeable Heads 2.5mm to 6.5mm Light up Zip Case

I wanted to wait a few weeks before giving a thoughtful review of this hook set and use it on a few projects I am working on concurrently. I am constantly crocheting projects for myself, home and family. So, I finished a shawl and started two more projects with it, using different sized hooks for each of the projects. The hooks work very well with a variety of yarn types and weights. It works very well in the dark, but I am older and dark yarns in the dark were a challenge for me. That is my eyesight more than the hook itself. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and did purchase this product by reading reviews, which is always a challenge.In addition to having a great product, I am very happy about the box that it came in. Great organization for the hooks, the body and the charging cord. One thing I have to have is organization with my tools, whether it be crocheting or sewing, needlepoint, embroidery, rug making etc. I like to have a place for everything and everything in its place. There is nothing worse than not being able to find the tools you need when you need them. So A+ on the organized zippered packaging for the hooks and body, etc.This is a good product and works very well with a high and a low light for the hook. It sort of glows in the dark when you crochet. And, from someone that has crocheted for nearly 40 years to you, if you purchase it, you will have a few days to become accustomed to it, but you will like it as much as I do.There is one thing I would ask the manufacturer though, is that the numbers for the sizes are small for my eyesight and I have to use a magnifier to see them. They are metric or European and I have to look at the conversion chart every time until I get used to it. Since I have been crocheted for so long I am just used to seeing D, E, F, etc. I also crochet doilies and this set is only set up for standard sizes. I have a complete set of all of the hooks one would need for that, but, it would be great to have lighted hooks in those hooks as well. So, if you crochet doilies or Irish lace this set will not help you if you need light. I would still recommend this product for the standard hooks sizes, however. Motor City Girl.

I ordered this product with high hopes of being able to crochet comfortably at night and it absolutely delivered! It took a second to figure out how to change the hook piece, but once I turned the hook piece slightly, it popped right out and I inserted another with ease. The smoothness of the hook is top notch, it does not snag my homespun type yarn at all. I am surprised at how lightweight it is and how well it illuminates my work in a darker room. Another exciting part of this product is I can recharge it when I’m not crocheting. I did attempt a few stitches while it was charging but it was awkward having the charger cord attatched to the end of it. All in all, I’m very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone who desires a lighted crochet hook. This product has revolutionized my favorite hobby!

I got my set Friday, December 29th. I wanted to wait to review until I had a chance to work with it. I love the light both settings are great. The inside of the hooks themselves are a little rough but the don't seem to catch the yarn. The case could have been made better. The second time I opened the set I thought I had lost the little, wrench tool. It was underneath the foam next to the little place the hooks and tool are stored. There are just those two things I would have changed in the designing and making of this set. I do love the set and the charging time is very quick. I didn't crochet very long with it so I didn't get an accurate time of use before a charge is needed. The handle is very nice and comfortable to use. The hooks are real easy to change. I gave it a 4 just because of the roughness of the hooks and the quality of the case. I do recommend this and I really think I will use it often.

I was hesitant to buy this product at first because my previous crochet hook was metal and I am rough with my hooks as I make heavy Afghans.But I am so happy I bought this! Here’s why-It’s lightweight. I don’t need table lights on at night to crochet. It has a High and Low setting with just a click of a button. One short charge lasts for hours. It comes with multiple attachment heads ranging from 2.5mm-6.5mm. It comes with an organized travel case. And the plastic is very durable so far!I’ve attached some pictures. The first is how it came in the travel case. The second is the case layout (I had already pulled out the charging cable and tried to put it back in neatly). The third is next to my current hook (size H or 5mm) on the High setting. Fourth is on the Low setting. The fifth picture is to show the easy attachment of the other crochet heads. And the seventh picture is of the hook charging. The light turns off when it’s fully charged.And finally the only flaw I’ve found so far- pictured in picture number six. And the flaw is small and adaptable.So the handle comes with a 2.5mm head attached. I changed it to the 5mm head. Since it’s larger, it does not fit in the case that way so I’ll either have to keep the hook with my project, change the head back to a 2.5mm every time I put it back, or just simply cut the hole in the case bigger. But no matter what I end up doing, this was well worth it!!!

I purchased this on a whim. I wanted to try the lighted hooks without having a dozen separate hooks that all need batteries. This recharges and has dim and bright light. The little wrench is weird at first then you feel the click into place as you turn the hook head into place. It’s secure! I’m so happy I purchased this. The necks are smooth and no issues with yarn grab . The case is really nice and holds the hooks, cord and handle securely. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
