Lorus Sport Sport Watch with Single Time Function RG877CX9

I’ve been using this Lorus watch for over a year and a half, and I still wear it often. Overall, I like it. WHAT WORKS: The watch is lightweight, thin, and non-intrusive on the wrist. It’s comfortable for long hours. The dial is bright and easy to read, and the numerals are clear at a glance. As a simple everyday watch, it performs well. DESIGN & EXECUTION ISSUES: The hour and minute hands are too similar in colour to the dial, causing them to blend into the background instead of standing out. The date window placement is awkward. It cuts into the “3” numeral unnecessarily. This feels avoidable and points to weak attention to detail. The hole alignment on the leather reinforcement strip is also poorly executed. The holes are punched off-centre rather than being properly aligned. It looks untidy and again suggests careless detailing. STRAP MATERIAL & DURABILITY: The strap is the weakest part overall. The thin fake leather reinforcement stitched onto the NATO strap has not aged well. I usually wear the watch on holes 3 or 4, and those holes - along with the surrounding material - are already badly worn. That material quality is poor, and I now need to replace the strap. Hoping I will find one with exact dimensions. ....... This watch could easily be much better with closer attention to design execution.
