Fast, tough, and versatile—solid glue for tricky plastics, gear repairs, or van-ready fixes.
This kit’s built for bonding plastics that usually resist glue—polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and other low-energy surfaces. Comes with a 4ml activator and 2g glue tube. Geared toward gear repairs, car trim, tool handles, or site-ready patch jobs where standard super glue fails. Activator primes the surface, then the glue bonds fast—sets in seconds, cures fully in minutes. Works well on toys, tech bits, outdoor gear, and van mods. Compact size fits glovebox or tool pouch. Ideal for one-off fixes or emergency repairs where you need a strong hold on awkward materials. Best used with clean surfaces—wipe down first, apply activator, then glue. No mixing needed. 👍 Pros ✅ Bonds hard plastics—PE, PP, PTFE, etc. ✅ Dual-component—activator + glue for max grip ✅ Fast set—seconds to bond, minutes to cure ✅ Compact kit—easy to stash and carry ✅ Trusted brand—LOCTITE reliability 👎 Cons ❌ Small quantity—best for spot fixes, not large areas ❌ One-shot use—activator dries fast ❌ Not flexible—rigid bond once cured

Worked fine - but you only really get one safe repair out of a tube.
Glue works fine as expected, but the cap seals up solid after the first use, which makes it an expensive repair unless you want to risk cutting upen the tube!

Really is 'Super' glue on car-trim plastics
Tried Araldite, Plastic Padding 'Super Steel' epoxy weld, and Evo-Stick 'Serious Glue' to fix a piece of car interior trim which had broken, but the trim was marked as PP4 plastic and these three glues failed to make any sort of bond with the plastic and it kept re-breaking (along the same break lines luckily) A bit of internet searching told me PP4 was Polypropylene (PP) plastic (which, along with Polyethylene (PE) plastic, doesn't react chemically with normal glues) and that this Activator and Superglue combination would bond the parts together. And it did - brilliantly, fixing my interior trim panel and saving me £30 buying a second-hand panel off eBay (its an 12+ year old Audi TT so main dealer prices would be extortionate) So if you have any PP or PE plastic to fix (as well as anything else that just needs Supergluing (without using the Activator)) this is the stuff to use.

Great adhesive but awful dispensing--risky at times.
It's very good adhesive, of course, so I cannot fault the performance but no matter what I do with the Loctite products, I can never get the cap off it the second time I want to use it. I find it quite a dangerous product in that regard because a struggle with the cap can mean the glue suddenly escapes and ends up on the hands, glueing fingers together or worse. Surely there's been some innovation in the caps for these tubes in the many decades since superglue became available? I have ended up pricking the base of the tube with a pin and using it that way, but after doing this, I have to seal over the hole with something and then remove that 'something' the next time I want to use the glue...so, removing the barrier I applied then makes it risky again. It would really be better to devise a fastening that doesn't need the fingers in proximity to the adhesive. I always end up throwing away almost a full tube.
