The tool holster is an absolute game changer!
This comes with a bunch of very useful widgets. I was concerned about not being able to switch the side of the release lever on these, but i do think for most tools that the fixed orientation of these ones is the right one. I might get another pro clip later on, I'm thinking having 3 of these clips might be ideal and 4 should be overkill, but it probably makes sense if you also go for attaching spider pins to a hammer and tape measure too. I think even with a normal 1.25 inch belt, the spider holster adds a lot of comfort to clipping on heavy tools. It's more flexible than the belt clip that comes with tools because it can rotate. I suggest trying different positions with the set screw tightening clips to see where you can get really good ergonomics with it. It is absolutely comfortable with any normal belt to hang lighter 12v tools and stuff like water bottles, tape measure, etc. I got a massive 4 inch wide tool belt and I'm realizing it's overkill but that thing will make it really comfortable to hang huge 18V tools and huge amounts of nails/screws and an entire half the toolbox on your person. I was going to make the spider holster a centerpiece of that rig, which it will be, but most of the time I will simply be clipping the spider holster on my regular pants belt and it will be more than adequate (I'm not in the trades, I just got really tired of inefficiently walking back and forth picking up and putting down my tools when working on home improvements). On my M12 tools the screw for the clip (which I used with the separately purchased tool pins) is near the top, this can make it harder to reach and I think I would prefer a lefty style holster clip, which I will need to get, but either way it's still really easy to disengage the lock. On all the tools that you bount the pin/nub on the bottom of the tool (like larger tools like M18 and all of the tools i use the set screw clip on, where it will go on the bottom of the grip) it hangs down and the holster clip lock release is completely effortless to reach. Those "pro tool grip" clips actually were the biggest surprise of this kit. Because they use the perfect material so it attaches really firmly to your tool, all the while not digging into and damaging the rubber grip of the tool, so it's a great way to get a great deal of control over where to put the pin/nub on the tool. I have several M12 tools that have no screw attachment for the screw pins, and these work GREAT on them. After seeing these I am not sure there is a point to the "elastic attachment strap" product. I'm sure that one is also great but these set screw tightening clips are really secure and much cheaper. I was reading about drill holsters but I just knew that there had to be something better. This design is better because you are not strapping on a large 5 inch wide contraption that can only be used for a few things. With these holster clips you're able to do so much more with less bulk. Now, you do gotta buy into the platform, but I'd say the value is definitely there, and the quality is top notch. I love the bit holders too. At first I was slightly disappointed that these weren't the magnetic ones but these could very well be even better than the magnetic ones... There is no more convenient place to store bits than on the tool itself If you're concerned about cost I bet it's pretty easy to design something yourself that has the right shape.

Love this system!!
This has been - by far - my favorite method of carrying my tools around while on a job. It's SOOO quick and easy to take the tool on and off my belt with this. I bought the "Quad" kit, and I've used most of it. In fact, I've found that most days I just slide the clip onto my belt just in case I need to grab my impact driver at some point during the day. I know that seems a little crazy but it's quarantine we're all crazy now. I've hand no trouble sliding my tools in and out of the clip. And when I'm moving around a ton it's nice to know that the lock will keep the tool in place. I've never had it slip out on me, like I have with other tool holders. The bit holders I initially viewed as a silly throw-in, and now they might be my favorite part of the kit. I absolutely LOVE these things. I put two of them on my DeWalt impact driver and I have all six slots loaded at all times with the 6 bits that I use the most often. I gave this system 5 stars and I stand by it. That doesn't mean there aren't things I dislike though. They just aren't enough to keep me from absolutely loving this system. But here they are anyway: - the "open" mechanism simply doesn't stay in place. There's a lever you lift up to release the tool, and if you pull it all the way up it supposedly sticks there and now you can take a tool on and off and it won't be locked in place. I like this feature for the times when I'm doing something where I need my drill in rapid succession. I also like it for times when I'm purely taking measurements and I want to be able to quickly take a tape measure on and off the clip. But the mechanism locks back down SUPER easily so that feature is essentially worthless. Hopefully they'll fix that in the future. I wouldn't even mind having a clip with no lock at all (they could make it a different color to keep track or something). - the bit holders - which I adore - are billed as being able to hold up to 6 bits in each unit as long as they're the stubby kind that you put into an extension bit. Yes, this is technically possible and I did it for a while, but I found that those bits fall out much too easily. Now I only keep full-sized bits in those sleeves so they fit 3 in each unit. I just put two of them on one drill and then I have six bits again :) - while I like the design, I will say that the tools get a little wobbly on you, and rotate into awkward positions. If there's a bit in your drill, sometimes that ends up poking you a little. It's not the end of the world, but a minor annoyance. - I've put the straps on heavier tools, but naturally I've found there's a limit. Frankly, this isn't for anything much heavier than a hammer drill. I have the straps on my drill, driver, and a cable stapler I use, and that last one is the heaviest I go. I tried it on a cordless brad nailer once and it was way too heavy for my belt and pants to hold up comfortably. That's it! I love this system and strongly recommend it.

Incredible product, could be made more durable.
Incredible idea. Get product. Works well. I am a gutter installer and it worked incredibly until the stitching came out. It’s unfortunate but the functionality of this product I do enjoy how quick and easy it is to quickdraw. I do a lot of bending and squatting on rooftops where it puts tension on the drill and the holster itself and that is the reason it pulled apart. I kept the holster my from right hip. Placement of this product is crucial to keep tension off of it. Other than that it locks in well, I never had an issue with anything else. Rubberized inner cuff grips my drill and does not spin. Good product but construction could be more sturdy by being built into the spandex cuff not stitched inside with one thread count. Lasted 2 months with 5 day 8-10 hour days. Heavy use.

Absolutely great product. No idea how I lived before owning these tool holsters. Haven’t misplaced a tape measure since I got the Spider Tool Holster! Works great with drills, drivers, tape measures and pretty much any tool you’ll need close to hand. Will be buying more of these.

Sick to death of my screw gun digging me in the leg as I walked about or climbed a ladder with it hanging from the hammer loop of my tool belt, I just had to find another option. Holster? Nope, too much of a pain to stow and release one handed as I work off a ladder, especially as you’d need to re-buckle it every time to ensure tool security. Holsters are pretty cumbersome to have on your belt too. Often, even with the belt pulled so tight I could barely breath, it would still start to creep down around my arse and just be uncomfortable to climb with. I made the decision that I wanted my screw gun up near my abdomen to keep it out of the way. Only way to do that was with a vest. Didn’t like the Snickers one because I couldn’t see a way of securing my screw gun in the place I wanted it, so in the end I opted for a police/military style Molle vest with multiple loops. Looks ridiculous I know but I just don’t care, with hindsight I’d have gone for black though. Got my vest, now…how to attach my screw gun? Tried a rhino hook thing but the trigger would operate when I dropped the gun in, plus it stuck out too far. So more googling led me to Spidertools. HOW BLOODY MUCH??!! Yep, they are crazy expensive but they are worth every penny. I feel a warm glow every time I grab and re-stow my tool. Though that may just be from the embarrassment of looking like a wannabe copper climbing a ladder. Oh well, it works! They lock every time you stow the tool and they’re easy to get the hang of releasing one handed. It’s a bit of a faff putting the lug onto your tool and I was convinced it would make holding the tool uncomfortable but you don’t even notice it’s there. Brilliant design that just works.

Klare Kaufempfehlung 🤪
