Don't use drill driver with them-they break easily! but still very useful tools!

I just purchased the ball end hex set for $17. They are clearly an “economy” set but that was expected from the price. I saw a lot of poor reviews and warnings but decided to purchase anyways since it had a lot of bits. Overall, they seem to be fine. They were a little powdery on arrival, so I decided to clean them with a soap, water, and a paper towel. Some paint came off the 1/8” bit (see photo) but the paint is pretty cheap so it will probably rub off eventually anyways. The center divider on the box it came with was broken and they do not fit like the product photo shows (you’ll have to stagger the sizes in some way) so I might make my own box or else just live with them not being well organized. Another reviewer provided a table showing the size vs what was measured so I decided to do the same. I did not have as many bits that were over the spec (its better for a bit to be undersized rather than oversized). Ideally, you want the size to be 1-2% under the spec but I think 5% should be just fine. As long as they don’t snap on me, I will be pretty happy with these.

The head snapped off the 5mm first time I used these. Being more careful, the second time I used these, they deformed inside the fastener heads so much that I couldn't get the bit out of the fastener. Save your money, these will not last.

I really want to like the set. It looks great. They fit great. I snapped one using an impact driver. The screw was tight but came loose with a hand Allen key. I don’t like the box/case it comes with. They get to jostled around in my tool box for them to stay put. I got the holders the bits slide into. Decent quality but I don’t know if I would buy again or recommend.

On the first project I tackled, the 3mm ball end broke off, which was quite disappointing. Considering it was marketed with hardened CR-MO steel, I expected a better level of durability. This incident happened past the return window, so I was stuck with a broken bit right from the get-go, which was a letdown. On the brighter side, the rest of the bits have held up well so far, and the magnetic tips are indeed handy, providing a good hold on the screws. The variety of sizes included is quite useful, covering most of the common sizes I needed for different tasks. The bits fit well, and the claimed precision measurements seem to hold true, as I didn’t encounter any issues with the fit on other sizes I've used. The ability to use them with a standard drill or impact driver is a plus, adding to the set’s versatility.

Ball ends make it easy to manipulate jex screws that are placed in hard to reach places. 1/4 hex shank so they fit in most drivers. Full set so I have whichever bit I need. Winning product.

Love ball end Allan wrenches. Very quick response by the team. Looks like a good product. Now I need a good screwdriver handle to hold the ball end bit.
