I bought this one to remove and add fluid from an automatic transmission and it did great. Each pump moves a lot of fluid compared to some of the ones I saw in some videos. I suggest you straighten the hose for a day or two before use because it wants to curl back up to the way it is packaged and makes it aggravating to use.

The pump worked great for getting trans fluid out of my car. The only complaint was that the hose was crimped in several places. With some light heat, it kind of removed them, but at the cost of losing some of its integrity. But if you only going to need it every once in a while then definitely a great tool to have in your box.

I just tried this little hand pump out with a few 5-gallon buckets of water in my backyard, and it worked great, with a very good level of flow. I bought it to remove and refill transmission and differential fluids in my car, and from the looks of it, it is exactly what I need. Seems like a legit 5 product, so as it doesn't fall apart on me anytime soon, in which case I will alter my score accordingly.

Absolute junk. The hoses that come with it are cheap and kinked so bad they can’t be straightened out. The pump itself worked OK, but even then the hoses don’t stay attached resulting in spilled liquid everywhere. Don’t buy this, it isn’t worth it, spend a little more and buy a better product.

Pump works well *for small volumes*. However, it doesn't continue siphoning without pumping action. You can't just get a siphon started and then see a continuous flow. This pump is inadequate for siphoning large volumes, such as occasional water from a pool cover, which is what I needed. Also, the small box packaging includes the plastic hoses wrapped with tight bends. This impedes the use of the hoses as they want to continue to curl back into their packaged shape.

I bought this to replace the little pump that comes with a siphon pool cover pump. This works way better starts the suction instantly.
