Bought this, plugged it in, let it charge up, then plugged in our electronics and it just works. It has worked flawlessly for a year now. I have a 65" plasma TV, wifi router, modem, and all associated home entertainment gadgets plugged into it. We never know if the power goes out while streaming a movie or playing a game in a very rural area where power fluctuations and outages are common. I didn't mess with any settings, other than to silence the beep, and I don't have it connected to a computer. It is silent until it starts running off battery, then there is a slight fan noise. Power on, plug&play. This is a beast of a ups. Tip: Buy the 30 to 20amp adapter for this unless you want to swap out your wall plug.

This is truly a workhorse of a battery and I oversized it to support my security system and Internet connectivity for power outages. I know it's designed for data center equipment but is serving well at home. Be aware since it's oriented for data centers it comes with server software and direct cable connection for monitoring and configuration. You don't really get a smartphone app for that. However Schneider does offer some free limited monitoring of the unit via their website if you run an Ethernet cable to the unit and your Internet router and consent to their terms. If you plan on plugging this unit into your garden variety 110v outlet at home, you will need an L530R adapter.

I know this experience is probably atypical, but having this hardware removed from my rack is better than having it installed. As far as I can tell here is the behavior of the APC UPS in my rack: If the grid goes out, there is a facility battery that picks up, but with a small delay. The half second dip is enough for the UPS to kick into protection mode (as expected). Normally, what should happen next is that the UPS would return to A/C operation a few moments later. But for whatever reason, be it a bad sensor, bad software or something about the energy coming from the batteries, it literally refuses to switch back to A/C. Then, predictably, it dies which hard kills the entire rack. But the UPS is still on, of course, because there is A/C power and still refusing to turn anything on. So I have to manually override it on the menu on the front of the device. Only then will it try to power everything up and there is about a 50/50 chance of it just cutting power to the whole rack again. I've lost a 15TB HDD like with this behavior. Additionally, I purchased two new batteries for this unit after it reports them EOL. After a couple months it will report the battery EOL again.

the box was a little rough, the anti-tamper tape was moved inside the box, but it works fine. beware on plans to install, this is a HEAVY unit to lift, more, and slide into rack. It might have been easier to (a) remove the battery which comes disconnected, (b) install the unit in the rack, (c) re-insert the battery in the unit and connect, (d) power on, or connect some devices and power on (read manual on that order).

Ordered 3000VA and when it arrived the packaging was in tatters (but then again, it is about 100 pounds, so not the surprised). Tried to use and would not work, so either a manufacturing issue or damage during delivery. I was dreading having to return 100 pounds of battery when I called Amazon. They immediately sent me a replacement without any issue, which is why I have been with Amazon for a while now. Product works as expected, no issues. Great peace of mind knowing I have 3000VA as well as line conditioning. No problems at this point, though I am told there are lots of issues with power in the neighborhood. A person at PCNation called and needed to share some information about delivery. He was condescending, and was man-splaining about a specialized plug we would need, and that the UPS was very heavy and would I have help unloading it. I can read and all the information he was trying to tell me was on the description and specs page. I understand the action, his presentation was poor. Please, in the future with other customers just ask your questions, don't treat women as unintelligent or uninformed. The UPS was everything we expected and it got a test the very next day after hook-up; We had a power outage and everything that was connected continued to work.

Works well. We're happy with it overall.

We supply these units with all of our Industrial Control Panels, and we have been pleased with the results. The added networking connectivity features add the ability to monitor the status of the UPS in real time. This helps to avoid downtime due to a failure of the unit.

Fonctionne comme prévu depuis 4 ans mais il faut remplacer les batteries à temps (3 ans pour mon cas avec une charge relativement faible).

Mes deux serveurs ont tenu sans problème pendant 20 minutes de de coupures de courant intermittent. Capacité excellente, je suis en moyenne a 35% de capacité, et j'ai d'autres équipements réseaux de branché dessus. Je suis réconcilier avec les UPS
