Mum feels safe using this ladder. Has brilliant wide steps. You have to put it together, which I would have preferred for it to come pre made, hence the 4 rating. It’s a bit bulky for storage but just fits in the gap. Overall a good ladder and reasonable price.

Strong and supportive ladders with wide step area and hand rails which made me feel safe when using.

A nice sturdy pair of steps suitable for an old codger like me who doesn't like heights. I feel completely safe even on the top step as there are handles to hold onto. I recommend to anyone who has to do odd jobs around the house like curtains and cleaning tops of cupboards, etc and is not quite as agile as they used to be.

While this ladder has all the attributes of a safety ladder, there are quite a few faults. I am a 73 year old female who has recently become a widow. I now have to change my own light bulbs, and quite a lot of other things that require me to climb a ladder. I chose these because of the hand rails as I am not good with heights. For starters these ladders are heavy than I thought they would be. The fixtures for the hand rails are a joke. The screws are too long and can't be tightened, so the hand rails wobble and do not support you. They supply a tool to tighten the nuts but it's too big. I did manage to replace the light bulbs but didn't feel safe, and couldn't rely on the hand rails. I will have to wait for my son to visit, to see if he can make them more secure. You have a good product, but not finished properly or thinking about the people using it. I expect a lot of people are like me and need the security when having to climb ladders.
