150 WATT Mono Amplifier Board Using 2 Pairs of D718+B688 AS Main Output TRANSISTORS

Average output and quality, good for home use

Received the board today and upon looking at the board, i realized there was no quality control performed. The soldering were in a very poor state and it was dangerous at few places, specially the power supply input points being soldered together (Positive and Ground were soldered together and it seems no one bothered to check it) very obvious it was not tested before shipping, components were loosely soldered and legs of few were not cut properly. Fortunately I looked at the connections and realized these issues, post fixing it has been connect on bench for test. So far it is performing well and there is no humming. I was using another similar board from MV collection and there are few findings to share across. MV collection board has more bass throw compared to this board however the audio quality is better in this board. The bass in this board is good but cannot be compared with MV collection's similar board, similarly the audio quality of this board is much better than MV collection. Though none of these boards have any humming or distortion. MV collection's board was also under bench test running in same setup, I removed it today and connected Audio light board, will check it for few days under various conditions and decide further plans. Overall, the board is performing good as of now, however the manufacturer needs to be careful with quality checks. Having a board with power supply pins sorted together could damage a lot of components within the board and other connected components. May refer images for details.

I bought this unit for salvaging the heatsink and power transistors for one of my projects. I am happy that the supplied heatsink is of good quality. The kit consists of cdil power transistors, other parts not very good quality. Also no fittings for connectors and terminals are absent. Overall I'd consider this slightly expensive for the quality. I'd imagine you should need a good rectifier unit to power this.
