So far, this has been great. It’s a sturdy glass container with a nice wide opening. The stir stick is great quality with an edge on one side to scrape the starter. I’m currently trying to make my own starter and it’s nice to have the elastic cloth top as well as the plastic top for when my starter finally is active. The band is convenient as it has the days and times. You just line it up so you don’t forget when you fed it last. The thermometer sticker that comes with it is also helpful. My starter has been taking a lot of time, but I think it’s because our house is too cool. If I didn’t have the thermometer sticker, I probably would’ve gotten more frustrated. The jar also shows how many milliliters are currently in the jar and it has a sticker on it that shares how much the jar actually weighs which is super convenient because I forgot to weigh the jar before I started the whole process. Now I will never forget! Overall, this is an excellent starter kit. I feel like it gives you everything you need. Although this is my first time making sourdough, but so far I haven’t felt like I needed anything else. (other than the scale, but I already have one of those.)

The size is perfect. I have tried other brands where the container is smaller and the started ended up going over the jar and making a mess. I have had fabulous results with this.

This is a great jar. Wide enough mouth for easy cleaning. The two different “toppers” cover both storage & fermenting. The band lets you keep track of feed times and the rise. I’ll be ordering a second set. Also, I contacted KNEADACE with a concern & got a rapid response and the issue resolved. “Issue” was my fault. 🥴

Cute little kit to get started on the sourdough journey. Everything you need to keep your starter and keep going strong. Easy to follow instructions with a conversion cheat sheet if you don’t have a scale. Recommend if new to the game and makes everything clean and simple.
