This is a great product with a weird name, but they are telling you what the target area is for the product. It is a ORAL product, an important thing to be aware of, since the name implies something else. Even though oral, it is not affected by what you eat or drink with it. It is tasteless. It is relatively easy in this world to get imbalanced gut health, and this supplement makes it incredibly easy to get probiotics into the gut where they’re needed. The suggested amount initially is four vials, and that makes a lot of sense since you really do want to restore balance as quickly as possible. It is not the kind of product that you can overdose on, so there’s no harm in trying the maximum dose for a week and then observing. The way I take it is four vials a day for the first two days and then two for the rest of the week, and then I observe. Since I do take a lot of supplements, I’m pretty good at figuring out how to get a balance and that really is the name of the game. There’s no harm in trying this if you are experiencing gas and bloating. I already ordered some for a client to try and we will see how it goes. At this price point, I feel it is worth a box of 20 in a week to see if it can help. It will take a bit of time to be able to tell.

I have been trying to find a substitute for Erceflora for my family. I purchased 2 boxes of Rectum for a total of 120 vials. The boxes were delivered today Feb. 23, 2025. The liquid in the vials was supposed to be clear, odorless, and tasteless. The liquid in the vials I received were milky, has an odor, and has a taste of worn socks. The manufacturer date is May 31st 2023. The expiration date is May 30th 2025. This product only had 3 months of shelf life and had already turned bad. In the Philippines, when you buy Erceflora at the drugstore, the drugstore opens the Box and shows you that the vials are clear liquid and haven't gone bad. I would suggest to the seller that he opens a box and inspects them before he ships. I would also suggest that the seller be aware of the expiration date and not ship 120 vials with only 3 months left on the expiration date. Don't you have any new stock that you can ship that hasn't turned bad? I wasn't able to see an option for contacting the seller so I just left this review. The order says that it is non-returnable and non-refundable. I will try and contact Amazon and see what I can do. I will revise my review if anything changes. I am always on the look out for probiotics or things that can help my gut health. When I saw these probiotics with their emphasis on colon health and gas and bloating issues I was interested. I get gassy etc. given the focus of the product information on the lower end of the GI tract and the product name “rectum” I assumed that was how this was taken, suppository style via the back end. I have done odder things in the name of GI health. Heaven bless, it is a liquid that you take orally in a glass of water or juice. Yay! I used a couple ounces of juice and didn’t notice any bad taste or anything. After taking there weren’t any odd side effects, if anything my toileting is more regular and complete. I am excited to take the whole course of capsules and see further improvement.

While the name "Rectum" might be a bit off-putting, you get past that once you see the benefits. I literally turn the package around so I don't have to look at the name, lol. Since using probiotics in general, I've noticed a significant improvement in my digestive health. Gas and bloating have been reduced, and no weird aches in my stomach. The 20 vials make it easy to incorporate the probiotics into my daily routine, and the 3.38 Fl Oz size is perfect for taking on the go. It honestly tastes like water, so it's easy to take.
