what a beautiful mate, a deep green with a wonderful taste, the packaging is gorgeous too

about 30% of the volume is stems (some of which were an inch long) the flavour is bitter, smokey and unpleasant. it felt like i was drinking through a capillary rather than a straw due to all the un-uniform pieces of mate. Such an insult to call this a gourmet product... maybe there was a spelling error and they meant to say garbage mate. the remaining product will be thrown in with the compost food scraps where it might scare away some worms and insects.
