BattPAT PAT Tester + Free Labels and Book

This is great for portable appliance testing, as I've recently passed my testing course (although there is a voucher and instructions included in this). This was the cheapest option I could find, with good reviews, and I made the purchase. It came with all the kit needed, a comprehensive instruction manual, log sheets, and pass/fail stickers! This is the perfect piece of kit to take with you on the go. The built in battery lasts a long time, and with all the cables for additional types of testing, it doesn't take up much space or weigh, so it is very portable! I've been using this for testing electronic goods for a local charity shop that I volunteer at, and it makes the process quick, easy and very safe. Everything works as expected, and the guide talks you through testing different types of kit, different classes and what to look out for when testing. Overall a great bit of kit, fully complete for all your PAT needs!

Brilliant item so easy to use

The kit itself is brilliant however, you get a letter about a month after purchasing that explains they are that confident in the build of there product that we have a lifetime warranty, however then they go onto saying you must calibrate your product every year, so we don't really get any warranty so whats the point mentioning the warranty. We have to pay for calibration, which is fair enough however stop overselling the product by saying you get a lifetime warranty as thats rubbish as we have to pay for our yearly calibration.

Nice unit that is easy to use and quick to produce the Pass/Fail result. Seems to be the most cost effective option out there but feels like a quality tool.

The battery in the unit can test up to 500 units before a recharge. Makes it much easier to test where charging points are few and far between. Easy to use. Good booklet with v useful info. Ideal for offices, small businesses, shops. Personally recommend used by someone with a certificate in PAT testing.

Purchased this PAT tester and signed up for the training. My husband did the formal training yesterday, and the machine would not hold charge in the battery. The lecturer said the machine was faulty. It has been on charge the full day today, and the light is flashing to indicate it is charging. When you unplug it, to use it once the battery is full, it still won’t power on.. so is indeed faulty. The course recommended the TTS UNIT , which is Calebrated and costs around £220.

Really good product, I bought this one to support me while volunteering at a Repair Cafe.
