Dimmable white light with a softening lense. It can really pour on the intensity if needed. I have this acting as a webcam light source that doubles as a overhead lamp for my workspace. I have it mounted directly behind my monitor and standing over the top at a downward angle. It's big enough and the filter soft enough to not create sharp shadows on your face and behind you. I put it on a smart outlet so I can turn it off and on by voice. It will retain the last dimming setting, so turning it on and off does not require you to reset light levels. The remote is a little odd, as it needs to be turned on to interact with the lamp. Still it is more convenient than having to interact with the back of the light to adjust light levels.

The NEEWER GL1 PRO is a solid LED light. Highly recommended. I am not an expert, as a starter the light comes with everything you need. The control app on PC/MAC/Smartphone makes it very easy to set the light where you like it. It is small and light enough to be stowed away if not using. Just keep the cardboard box case it comes in. If I need more light source, I think I will set a second one. I got the silver model which was discounted. The price is so good that I am tempted to purchase a second one even if I really don't need it at the moment. One GL1 Pro provides abundant light already. The only issue is I can't connect it via WIFI, but it is non-issue because I can control it with 2.4G USB dongle and bluetooth. Anyone who wants to start experimenting with LED light should check this out.

STRONG LIGHT, good quality, easy to use. Its great for a desk set up, would only recommend stationary use not made for traveling the lights are pretty big. I think its a great value compared to over big brand lights on the market and it is obviously super high quality.

Great light, I like the physical control buttons, the included metal stand is very sturdy. The digital display is on the light is also a nice feature that shows color temperature and brightness. You can control the light remotely via their mobile or computer app via bluetooth, wifi 2.4ghz, or a 2.4ghz proprietary dongle. I tried multiple times to get the windows 10 software app to connect via wifi 2.4ghz and bluetooth but it just kept failing. I was finally able to control it via the windows 10 app through the usb 2.4ghz proprietary dongle but this left the device's 2.4ghz wifi and bluetooth open searching for a unsecured connection constantly. You are unable to disable the wifi and bluetooth option so low and behold someone close by was able to connect to my device and mess with it...not fun. Funny how they could connect to the 2.4ghz wifi or bluetooth but not me. I wish the they would update the software to allow you to turn off the wifi and bluetooth options and/or via combination of physical button presses. I wish the manufacture or developers would give me the option to make the light "dumb" so only the physical buttons work because the physical light itself is nice. The software just lets it down too much. Edit/Update: Seller reached out and confirmed my device wifi/bluetooth was defective. I am adjusting my review to 4/5 from 3/5 due to defect. I still think the user should have the option either physically (combination of holding buttons) or in the software to disable wifi and/or bluetooth if desired.

These Neewer lights are EXCELLENT for streaming and make for a great competition to Elgato lights. The lighting isn't harsh and it is easy to use these lights with digital controls. That said, I could not get the desktop application to work with the lights on Windows 10. However, I checked the phone app and the phone application works perfectly. You can turn the lights on/off with the phone app and change the light settings with ease. So long as you are comfortable using the phone application, and do not absolutely need the desktop version, you're good-to-go with these. Highly recommended for their great color, brightness, lack of harshness, and ease of use!

Comes with the light itself, pole, and charger with cable. The Brightness is incredibly bright for a small room, it does fall off if im trying to illuminate the whole room instead of just 1 or 2 walls. Super easy to assemble, quite small and would require a C stand, Its quite short stand as is. Quality is great for 65$ and the app is decent, simple to use.

Fantastic key light. Extremely bright if need be and the perfect addition to my desk setup (clasps to the side of my desk with no issues). It has controls on the top of it but honestly the app works so well that I just stick to using that to control it. Definitely recommended.

I bought this coupled with my stream deck and it’s great to have extra lighting when I’m doing video calls. The sound activated function is really cool when you play music.
