Q: Are they suitable for road bikes

Yes but only if they are fitted with V-brakes or center pull brakes. These are typically fitted to older touring style bikes. These will not fit "modern" cantilever brakes. Hope this helps - Paul

Hi you have to replace the complete unit these do not allow replacement of the pad only. Hope this helps

Hi, if your bike is fitted with V brakes or calliper brakes, they should be fine. BUT make sure they are correctly fitted! They work almost as well in the wet as the dry. Just make certain that they are fitted correctly or you may well end up on the floor, which hurts!
